I want to talk about honesty. It's something I have learned at this late stage of my life. I have learned that being honest is not always easy or convenient.
There have been times where it was so much easier to tell a lie, rather than tell a painful or embarrassing truth, but there is a flip side to that......because lies have a way of layering themselves and getting bigger and bigger. I have also discovered that eventually most lies are going to be discovered anyways.
Telling the truth all the time simplifies life so very much. Life is too short to waste it with dishonesty.
