My friends!

I've left home and therefore, I have lost friends from back home, but I have also gained new friends. I have yet to get any pix scanned, but shortly, I promise.
The people at the MSSM are pretty diverse and interesting. In my second year here, I have met few that I like (possibly my expectations are too high, but there are WAY too many teeny-boppers), but I'll let you know who those few that i like are.
Doug I met last year, and started dating on the tenth of January. We've been together for over a year. :-) He's the greatest. He's a musician, and recently has gotten some mp3's online and has gotten some recognition from it. He always knows what to do and say, to make me feel loved.
Renee M. (aka FatBabeSlm)is my lovely roommate. She is from somewhere downstate (Madison I think), she keeps me laughing and gets me to smile when I'm down, especially if she brings out the game Pay Day...one weekend we played for almost 5 hours...and trust me thats a long time for one game of Pay Day.
My friends from last year have departed, spreading themselves out in various colleges across the nation... The ones that I miss the most are:
Marcel -- he used to pick on me all the time, especially in psych class...(currently at WPI) what can I say? He was one of the first people I saw at the MSSM, he was in Leadership class and I was sitting in as a perspective...he messed up his speech and the teacher wouldn't let him start over...he was a bit embarrassed. :-) I think I may miss marcel the most. He's the only one that I can really talk to about everything and anything...he came up so visit recently, it made me miss him more.
Isaiah -- he was the only one I ever talked to for a while, the only one I really trusted. (currently at Bennington College in VT).
Keir -- We played pool together a lot near the beginning/middle of the year, I don't think I ever beat him...(I think he's in Ohio or somewhere...)
Mathieu -- my french Canadian friend who I didn't hang out with much, but now I wish I had (taking a year off from school)
Heather -- My little leprechan friend who is the most sarcastic girl I have ever met. (also taking a year off - attending Vassar next year) Heather is a real sweety, one of the only females i have never had an argument with or have felt jealous towards or superior to. She recently moved closer to my real home (not school) so I get to see her on long weekends and such.

my friend gregg belongs in his own catagory, but thats because he was one of my first internet friends (way back when I first got the net) and I've kept in touch with him ever since, hes great, and a really big sweety....

My friends really mean a lot to me, without them, I would have no one to caomplain to, no one to cry with, no one to share in my joy. Without my friends, I would honestly not be able to survive. My friendships have strengthened since I came to the MSSM, and for that I am greatful because I know that whenever I need to talk to someone, I know that there is someone out there, even if they do live far away.

Well, I only have a few friends pix scanned, but I am trying to get more.

this is doug (the one getting make-up applied) and amy, who used to go to MSSM, but left

this is marcel, he's got shorter hair now, but is still cute!
