Deer is another one of my animal Spirits. Deer teaches the power and strength in gentleness, to touch the hearts and minds of the wounded. Deer teaches the lessons of purity and innocence. Deer walks it's path with determination, and dispels the shadows. Deer does not do things for personal glory or praise, it simply knows what must be done, and does it. Deer will never knowingly hurt anyone or anything, and this is why children are often drawn to the Deer Spirit. Deer has grace and appreciation for the beauty of balance, and understands the power of gratitude and giving. Deer is connected to the Forest Spirits, and carries all the powers of strength with a gentle touch...

Raven is shadowy Spirit, but none the less powerful and very beautiful. Raven's wisdom includes the Magick of the Crone, divination, courage and comfort. Raven gaurds the shadows. Raven is the messenger of the Great Void in which all knowledge awaits us. Raven carries healing energy, and the mark of the shape-shifter. Raven Medicine allows for people to be viewed from the inside out, so that their hearts are clearly seen. Raven is a empath, and the understanding of others that comes with it is not understood by all. Raven carries a responsibility to Spirit, and exsists in both the dark and the light...

Bear is the Spirit of the Cheyenne Bear Clan I've been adopted into and like all other animals, is honoured with much respect. Bear is the animal of Shaman's and dreams. Bear's wisdom includes introspection, courage, strength, astral travel, healing and change. Bear is a fierce warrior, especially when protecting their young. Bear has both inner and outer strength, and can move like lightening when need be...

The White Owl is another animal Spirit I have recently met. Owl's wisdom includes silent and swift movement, seeing behind masks, keen sight, messenger of secrets and omens, shape-shifting, link between the dark, unseen world and the world of light, comfort with shadow self, Moon magick, and freedom.

The Animal Spirit who has most recently come to me is Eagle. Eagle is the bird of the Great Spirit, as he flies closest to Grandfather Sun, out of all the Animals. The rays of the Sun touch the feathers of Eagle, and the Indians hold that the feathers of the Eagle are therefore symbolic of the love of the Great Spirit. Eagle's Wisdom includes swiftness, strength, courage, wisdom, keen sight, illumination of Spirit, healing, creation, knowledge of Magick, ability to see hidden spiritual truths, rising above the material to see the Spiritual, connection to Spirit Guides and Teachers, balance, dignity with grace, intuition and respect.

An extension of the Eagle Spirit is the Thunderbird. This bird is the Spirit bird of Maheo (Great Spirit). It is believed that the Thunderbird flies above the clouds, and makes thunder with the flap of it's wings, and lightening bolts with look of it's eyes. It is believed this bird creates storms and rain, and therefore none is more powerful...
