João Luís was born on the 17th March 1981 in Oporto, Portugal.
Luís de Matos , a Portugueses Magician who led an interesting programm on TV, "Noites Mágicas", seems to be his very first magic influence.
He bought his first magic toys in "Hamleys"(London) in 1991 ... his magic career started .
At school he met Victor Valente. A teacher, a magician and a musician. Victor Valente was one of his teachers and João Luís asks him for some help on dealing with his "magic toys".
He won his first prize in 1995 at the International Magic Festival in Valongo (Portugal). There he met Rocco Silano, from whom he learnt the beginnings of sleeving techniques.
During the API Convention in Lisbon (1996) he had the chance to meet famous world magicians as Nicholas Night, Jeff McBride, Luna Shemada and Ascanio.
Now João Luís is waiting for the chance to become a world famous magician ...
