welcome! to my page. It's August 2001, and school is about to start again. I can't wait :) But anyways JUST want to tell all you guys to please go check out (meaning go buy) the book, Yell-Oh Girls. It really is a unique anthology of Asian American Girls speaking out against the stereotypes imposed against them by society (ex: the meek, quiet, skinny, little girl who dreams to be a doctor and OBEYS her parents)- not to say that this stereotype is not true, but more and more asian american girls and women of today are stronger than ever. so go get this book and you'll see that you can SO relate to the funny, witty and raw voices of the authors in this magnificient book. --michelle
