
If at least one of those listed above sounds like you, you could do some improving. That doesn't neccessarily mean you have poor image ... it just means you are not at your best. But how to improve? Here are several ways:
Make a list. Sounds stupid and corny, but it might help. Divide your list in 2 columns...the first one is what you like about yourself. The second one is what you want to improve. If you find the 2nd column filled in more, maybe you need to ask a pal for help to fill up column one. Concentrate on your good side every time someone/you makes a negative remark. You are as good as anybody else.
Every time you catch yourself talking dirt in the mirror, zzzzIIiiP! Fight yourself...say "No, that is so untrue!" and then replace it with a good comment.
Believe this or not...smiling improves your esteem! Yea, you'll see why. Just keep smiling all the time, especially when you are around people that you want to make a good impression on. They will automatically be interested.
Remember...nothing is going change if you keep critizing yourself. If you have a good self-image, congratulations! You're on your road to success. If you don't, you will. No one is born perfect. :)
