If you like the taste of Key Lime Pie (and who doesn't) this is for you! This drink is served at the Hoggs Breath Saloon as a shot
Shake well and strain into chilled glass or shot glasses
*Note* Licor 43 (if you're wondering) is a Spanish Brandy based Liquer with
43 ingredients. It has a flavor similar to Vanilla.
Fill glass with ice. Pour Pusser's Rum to fill about 1/4 of the glass. Fill with an equal amount of Cream of Coconut (Coco Lopez is good). Add some pineapple juice and a good splash of orange juice. Mix well. Add cherry and sprinkle nutmeg. Grab a straw and get ready! This was originally made in the Britsh Virgin Islands -- Pussers is the official rum of the Royal British Navy. Alter the amount of rum to your taste. Sorry about the inexact measurements -- that's the way we do it down in de Islans mon!
Martinique Martini
triple shot of Myers's rum ((best if the rum has been chilled but is not necessary)
Kick back in your,Shorts and sandals and sip one of these by the pool with your Conch Salad.
Note** This would be a black-tie boatdrink if we wore ties on the boat.
Fill glass with ice, add vodka and Clamato, squeeze slice of lime and add Tabasco and stir. Top with sprinkle of celery salt and garnish with pickle.
This is a great eye opener "THE MORINING AFTER". It will wake up those sleeping taste buds. I usually add a nice crisp garlic pickle or celery stalk. Down on my Boat for the holidays I'll serve them up with a shrimp or two on a pick or pickled asparagus.
Now don't get me wrong!!! I do like my beer also. I like Miller Lite but really prefer Corona. But man does not live by Beer alone. A Stoli Martini on the rocks with a jalapeno stuffed olive is my drink of choice. But I've also been known to put away a few Rum and Pepsi's (with a squeeze of lime of coarse). Don't forget dark rum for dark drinks (more rum flavor) and light rum for light fruity drinks (a lighter rum flavor) For a little change of pace you can always try Maliubu Rum a slight coconut flavor or Captain Morgan Spiced Rum for a little spiced flavor with your Pepsi. Both are very tasty !!!!
Add Grand Marnier and Tia Maria to a cup of coffee and top with whipped cream.
Most resturants will make this delicious after dinner coffee for you. If you would like to spiff it up a bit tell them to drizzle a little Creme de Mint on top of the whipped cream. Looks Mavvvlous and tastes even better.
OR
You can always go with the Baileys and coffee as the easy way out.
