Once upon a time, when earthlings discovered something called the WWW, (the World Wibe Web), they
were introduced to a new world, a new way of life. They thought, “Like, help me and stuff”. They found the
Internet a very big place, and soon became trapped, and they could no longer go on. These little earthlings
discovered, ”The Help Zone”, where they could get simple
answers to problems, and soon were back on their journey of the ‘Net.
Welcome to “The Help Zone”. I am your tour guide, Sara, and I will give your some general
pointers of how simple it is to become a cyber smartie.
As soon as you enter a chat room, INTRODUCE YOURSELF. Talk a bit about yourself. eg. (My
name is *Chat Princess* and I have just entered a room).
I find that a real turn-off is people who are desperate for c-sex. I hate it, but that’s my opinion. Please, if
you’re entering a room for c-sex, don’t make out that you won’t leave anyone alone unless you get some. Ask
once, and trust me, people will notice, and if no-one wants it, then GO AWAY. That’s it.
Show your EXPRESSIONS. People like to know when you’re in a good mood. It may sound
weird, but people appreciate it. If you’d like to let people know you are happy, sad, excited, confused, angry,
hungry, etc, write an adjective and surround the word with stars (*). For example *happy!*, *hungry*,
*sad*, *confused*.
Use your keyboard to show some mad facial expressions!! (Just turn your head to see what I mean!!) Here are
some common examples....
If someone says, “PM me!”, PM means Private Message.
JOIN IN peoples conversations. Watch what everyone is talking about, and see if you have
common interests with a particular person. It’s not ‘intruding’ when you ask what someone is talking about.
Besides, if they didn’t want the whole room to hear about it, they wouldn’t be talking about it in the public
forum.
If your still not getting attention, I once tried these examples.*BACK to Sara's Garbage Can* *GO TO the Next Page*
