Maternal instincts

In a previous episode,Gabrielle had gotten pregnant from a monster and had given birth to an evil child.This child,"Hope",had gods powers and killed a guard.Xena had plans to slay her friend's child.Gabrielle knew she couldn't oppose to Xena's will so she put the baby in a basket and abonned her on the river,praying for someone to find her.She hid Xena the truth telling her that she had thrown it over the cliff. When the episode starts Xena in on the centaurs's land visiting her son,Solan Meanwhile,Hope had grown up(she grows up very quickly)and she libereted Callisto from Tartarus.As soon has Calliso learns about Xena's son,she decides to kill him to make her ennemy suffer.She sends Hope to Xena to announce her the bad news.Xena decides to put Solan in the"safer place".Hope , with bad intentions,clues her mother on whom she is and tells her that she is afraid to get hurt by Callisto.Gabrielle,believing her child, sends her in the "safer place"with Solan.When Xena learns who the child truly is she runs to Solan but it's too late.She finds him laying on the floor, dead.She screams out of pain. she stays there a while with Solan in her arms,doing nothing.She finaly comes out when she hears that Callisto has arrived.While figthing with Callisto she discovers that she has god powers too...but only for a day.At the end of the day Xena goes against Callisto in the caves.they fight so hard that all fells down.Callisto get traped in the caves......while Xena gets away. Gabrielle realizes that her child is evil and does what she should have done long ago:poison Hope.There is a fire for both Solon and Hope.Gabrielle tries to say how sorry she is but Xena won t hear it.She blames her friend and tell her that she has betrayed her.They leave both ,going different ways.
