*Fleeting Moment*

Where did my dreams go
When I was not a thought
What ever happen to the right
When life was sacred not to be lost
Who took away the right for me to see
Another tomorrow
A place for me to be
Didn't anyone know
When I was just this moment
A tender touch
A long deep breath
Excitement in the night
Didn't anyone think
They might be giving me life
Who is to say when it began
It's me, I was there
All the way back then
Doesn't anyone know I do live
In the begining when life begins
There was but a moment in my making
There was but a joining as one
Then I was created
From the heaven's up above
God blew but a single breath and gave me life
No matter how I began
What was love or lust or tragedy
No matter how I became
I'm me!
Why then, before you do this thing
Will you not think of me
I was but this moment
Fleeting though it may have been
Why didn't anyone ask me
If I wanted it to end
My life to you may not be desired
But I don't want it to end
Why won't you think of me
Don't let this be my end

Am I a right to lifer?
"You can bet your sweet booties!"
No one, no where, has the right to take a human life.
Not even the most tiny little soul
