I Turned To God And Asked Him Why
How Could He Take You Away From Here?
And This Is What He Told Me While In Prayer
He Said You Were Special And Had Something Important For You
It Was Something He Said Only You Could Do
He Said He Wanted Me To Listen So I Would Understand Why
He Also Said You Were Strong And It Was Ok For You To Cry
He Said Our Friendship Was Something Special And Rare
He Told Me He Was Answering One Of My Prayers
He Said He Heard My Prayer Asking My Guardian To Guide Me One Day
And He Decided To Send Someone Special My Way
God Said He Decided To Let Me See
The Guardian Angel He Had Chosen To Watch Over Me
For She Is The Prettiest Angel He Had Ever Seen
And He Said She Was Full of Passion, Always Kind And Never Mean
He Said She Truly Understands And Knows The Real Me
And God Said Our Friendship Was So Special He Just Had To Let Me See
For Very Few People Ever Meet Their Guardian Angel
Which Explains Why Our Friendship Has Grown So Special
Even Though I Pray Hard That He Will Let You Stay
I Know In My Heart You May Leave Here One Day
I Pray That Day Won't Be Anytime Soon
And That We Have Many A Chat On A Warm Afternoon
I Won't Waste Any Time Asking Why Again
Because This Is The Only Explanation That Helps Ease The Pain
I Hope You Can See It Has Helped Me Understand
God Has A Special Plan For You That Is Much More Grand
So Don't Waste Any Time Always Asking Why
And Don't Just Cry And Let The Days Go On By
Do All That You Can And Experience All The Love In Your Life
And Know That You Are A Wonderful Friend, Mother And Wife
Don't Just Experience The Pity That So Many Do
Instead Enjoy The Life That Lies Ahead With Those Who Love You
And Always Remember The Special Friendship That We Share
