Through The Eyes Of A Child I Felt So Selfish
For There I Was Sitting Feeling Alone And Blue
When A Child Came Near Enough That I Could Hear His Words
He Was Making Wishes As He Blew On A Wish Fluff
And His Wish Made Me Realize My Hurt And Pain Were None Compared To His
This Small Child Made Me See The Self-Pity I Was Drowning In
This Small Child Made Me See That Things Could Be Worse
This Small Child Made Me See How Precious Life Is
This Small Child Made Me Realize To Let Go Of My Pain
This Small Child Made Me Realize I Will Be Fine If I Choose To Be
For I Am An Adult Who Understands Bad Things Can Happen
He Is A Child Too Young To Understand
I Am An Adult Who Knows People Can Stop Loving
He Is A Child Who Knows Only Unconditional Love
I Am An Adult Who Knows The Pain Will Ease Eventually
He Is A Child Who Doesn't Understand His Pain Will Ease
I Am An Adult Who Can Ask For Help
He Is A Child Who Can Only Make Wishes For Help
Children Are Precious And Hurt Very Deep
Only They Don't Know How To Tell You Of Their Pain
They Expect Adults To Know How They Feel
They Expect Adults To Help Them Heal
So Next Time You Catch Yourself Feeling Blue
And Thinking How Bad Life Is Treating You
Look Over At That Small Child Sitting There
And See His Pain Through His Eyes
Pick Him Up And Hug Him Tight
And Heal His Pain Within
A Little Child Ran Through The Field
Making A Wish As He Blew On A Wish Fluff
His Wish Was The Same Over And Over Again
"I Wish My Mom And Dad Would Get Back Together"
I Picked Up A Wish Fluff And Made A Wish To
I Wished For The Little Boy's Wish To Come True
