In the name of my country I have killed
              I have risked my life as my duty has willed,
          I have killed in freedom's name
                I have watched my brothers do the same.
          I have traveled to far off lands
                I have ended lives with my bare hands,
          I have done all this and more
              I then returned to America's shores,
          They spit on me in my homeland
              This is their right granted by my hand,
            My brothers died so you could breathe free
                I have fought so you could shun me,
            You should lower your head in shame
              When you look at the wall that bears my name......
