          I was feelin' all cold and empty last night
        With a bad case of "broken-heart flu"
          So I stopped what I was doin', and sat right down
          And wrote this song to send out to you

          It isn't always easy to say what you mean
          Much less to say what you feel
          But i'm praying that this feeling i'm feeling for you
          Is a feeling we're both feeling for real

          I know I'm not the only man you've ever known
