SMMO: Describe your music to someone who has never heard your music before.
EK&TTL: Southern-fried rockin blues

SMMO: What's better, stage or studio?
EK&TTL: We enjoy both, although having an audience is always more fun.

SMMO: How often, and how long does your band rehearse?
EK&TTL: We rehearse whenever we have time available, being working folks it ain't often. We prefer to "Learn it live" ;-)

SMMO: Are Southern Md. venues supportive of bands?
EK&TTL: The ones we have played in have been very supportive.

SMMO: What's the biggest downfall of local bands in the So. Md. area?
EK&TTL: Not enough live music venues.

SMMO: What styles or genre's most influence your music?
EK&TTL: Blues/Bluesrock

SMMO: How can audiences find out more about you, do you have a website?
EK&TTL: Yes, www.erickingandthethinline.com

SMMO: What is your secret method of providing the best show possible for the audience?
EK&TTL: The more emotion, the better, plus a little humor thrown in.

SMMO: What's the bands favorite venue to perform at in So. Md., why?
EK&TTL: Memories Cafe in Waldorf. Great crowd, decent room, excellent sound system, supportive management.

SMMO: Does the band have a CD available, how can we get a copy?
EK&TTL: Yes. We have our latest release, "Shake these blues" which is available at CDbaby.com, at all our shows, and on the web at various sites. We also have Eric's solo CD, "The Game" available at CDbaby.com.

SMMO: What goals has the band set for it's future?
EK&TTL: To write more music and get a new release out. To become a national act instead of regional.

SMMO: Would you ever consider not playing music?
EK&TTL: No, absolutely not! We love it!

SMMO: What does your talent mean to you?
EK&TTL: A wonderful way to express ;-)

SMMO: Is there a lead song writer who comes forth with the majority of original material?
EK&TTL: Yes, Eric King & Tony Albany.

SMMO: What goals have you set for your bands future?
EK&TTL: The highest!
