Winter of 2004
Suzy's SAT Day - Jan. 24th

CAUGHT BY surprise in the kitchen, the tension of the day was alleviated for a moment.

BUT.......the attitude was obvious in this picture. GOOD LUCK, little girl. Everybody's gotta go through
it.
SUZY'S BIRTHDAY DINNER - Feb. 6th

DINNER AT "That's Amore." That's how you say Love in Italian. We all love you, little girl.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...." sang the wait staff. I'm so embarrassed, thought Suzy.

"COME ONNNNNNN,....take the picture," said Guy and Eric to Mom. A great meal and a good night.
Miami vs Georgetown or "The Miami Fizzle"
Feb 7th

COLD AND BLUSTERY, Dianne managed a smile before the train ride in.

THE CANES actually led after the 1st half, but looked like do doo the rest of the way...

......PARTLY BECAUSE of #32 of the Hoyas who drained about 6 straight tre's and ended up with 37 points - Michael Jordenesque stuff.
Stephen's Visit Home - Thurs. - 2/12
PAYING A VISIT home, Stephen chowed down on food and watched "Jenne" quit "Survivor" on a chilly thursday night in February.
Valentine's Day Ocean City - 2/13 - 2/15

AFTER SPENDING almost all day on Saturday putting together two tables and the props for the bed, Guy's grimace began to fade. The coffee table was especially excruciating, stupid screws refused to go in the hole. 1 SCREW!! held up the whole works.
And the props - fuggedabout it. Using a wimpy saw was horrible, but the job was accomplished.

AFTERWARDS, DIANNE took a minute to relax and wind down. Next up was a quiet walk along the beach. The salty, misty air was magnificent to breathe.
We saw a black duck-like bird dive under the waves, perhaps looking for fish. A few minutes later it was still underwater.
That night we drove all over town to try to find a restaurant that wasn't a 2-hour wait - Phillips....Embers.......Bonfire. We finally settled on Higgins. Guy had all-you-can eat shrimp and ribs and Dianne had absolutely the most delicious crab imperial - some of the best ever tasted.

ON SUNDAY we started the day out with an all-you-can-eat breakfast at church, then headed for the boardwalk...
...Then, sadly, home.
Dianne's Birthday - March 8th
WITH A HUFF and a puff, down go the candles!...Down go the candles!...

EARRINGS IN HAND and a pot of roses on the table, Dianne smiled with Suzy.
