
ASHES FROM US military cemetaries around the world have been collected and kept in this urn at Camden Yards. Also the eulogy from the old Memorial stadium has been preserved on an opposite wall.
WITH THE Constellation in the background we formed up to do battle with the heat and humidity of the Inner Harbor. We also ate at the same place as last year - food was just as good. :-)
WITH NO BASEBALLS coming anywhere near where we stood, Eric and I blew it off and went back to our seats in center field under the scoreboard.
HERE WAS OUR view to home plate. Despite the 100 degree temperature, these wound up being great seats with a marvelous panoramic view of the game.
IT WAS ALSO Latino night at the yard - a celebration of all the great latin players in baseball. Here Suzy was serenaded by a salsa band.
BOTTOM OF THE 1st inning and it didn't take long before the fireworks began.............
......AS DEMONSTRATED by the scoreboard at the top of the 8th inning. A good time was had all day long - all weekend, for that matter, what with parties at Kevin McClintock, Mike Hamm and the fireworks.
