I utilize the latest tests to help me carefully monitor the condition and
progress of your pregnancy.
These include diabetes testing, alpha feto-protein testing (for neural tube
defects,
such as spina bifida and anencephaly), amniocentesis, non-stress testing,
and ultrasound,
all of which I perform in my office. Through my appointment at
Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center
with its complete single room birthing center, neonatal unit and perinatal
center,
I have available to me the most advanced facility to handle high risk as
well as low risk pregnancies.
I take great pride in guiding my obstetrical patients through all stages
of pregnancy,
from prenatal care to delivery, whether vaginally, as is usually the case,
or by cesarean section, if necessary.
I enjoy delivering babies... even in the middle of the night.
