Yavneh
Olami's Summer Internship Program (SIP) provides the opportunity for
observant students and recent graduates from all over the world to intern
in their fields of interest in Israel within a religious social and
educational environment.
SIP
participants spend their days hard at work in order to experience working
conditions, employment opportunities and make contacts. Internships have
taken place in such fields as: Law, Journalism, Scientific Research,
Medicine, PR, Computers, Politics, Speech and other therapies and many
more.
Summer
should not be all work and no play, so SIP participants are given extra
curricular programming by the eager Yavneh Olami staff. These programs
include Shabbatonim, weekly group dinners, tiyulim and guest lecturers.
Since
SIP participants are like-minded young, enthusiastic and fun loving, an
amazing amount of group bonding occurs. The group then schedules its own
outings and activities. It is on SIP that lifelong friendships are formed.
