Cliques

Perfect clothes,
Bleached blonde hair,
Thing I used to dream of.
Perfect smile,
Gelled down hair,
Men I used to think I love.
Preps in school,
Wiggers who rap,
So distant away from me.
Skaters in the street,
Dorks who study,
All together you see?
Struggles between two worlds,
Gaps too far to mend,
And the figure falling through those cracks,
Is me trying to stand.
Superficial,
Shallow,
Dumb.
Heavy metal,
Stoned,
Drugs.
The clash between the worlds,
Bloody, teasing, cruel,
Can't learn to understand each other,
Maimed, torn corpses after the duel.
Segregated,
Anticipated,
Accepted as it is.
Our society,
Our community,
Torn apart by cliques.
