Of a bird!

A visitor came into today and brought me a baby bird that she found while on the trail. I wish people would just leave baby birds alone. They are not orphans. I asked her if she could show me where she found it and she said she really couldn't remember. The poot thing doesn't have its flight feather yet so I am going to attempt to feed it for a few days until the feather develop a little more. I don't know what kind of bird it is but it has some BIG feet. It is spunky and is eating very well so it might have a good chance. So wish me luck.

Right now I am guessing it is a starling. But not sure yet. I went to the pet store and got some baby bird food. It is like ground up dry dog food that you mix with water to make this soup like stuff that smell like that rice facial stuff.

With Merlin I only have to feed once every 3 or 4 hours. This guy eats every hour. I guess wild bird have a faster metabolism.

He will probably want to eat it. LOL I am going to use the spare bathroom as a nursery. It is quiet and dark so he shoudl be good.
