Okay so the other night I measured all the blinds in the new house. They all...for the most...part were about 34.5 inches. So I went to Lowes and search their selection of blinds. I found a set for $3.96 and they were in white. PERFECT!!! I looked at the sizes. They had a 34 inch and a 35 inch. Seeing as the blinds were 34.5, I thought I should go smaller not larger so I bought the 34's. I got to the house and went to put one up and it was about an inch too short. WTF? What the hell happened? Well what happen is I measured the blinds not the window casing. The window casings is 35 inches. *ugh* So now I have to trot back to Lowes to exchange all 8 sets for the 35's.

I have repeatedly told people I can not measure. It is a disorder I have. I can't explain it. I am almost alway off on my measurements. It is a good thing I am not a carpenter because nothing I build would be structurally sound. LOL

Lennie came over last night to install the new outlet in the laundry room. I tried to pay attention but I think I was just getting in the way and making him nervous. Since the rest of my bed arrived yesterday I decided to put that together instead. It was fairly easy to assemble as long as you didn't try to follow the instructions. I had directions like..."turn cross support beam up and insert rivet A into slot A and then rotate so that rivet B will fit into slot B. See picture for details" Nothing was labeled slot a or b and there were no pictures of anything rotating. So I just played around with it until I figured it out.

Tonight I will hopefully be putting up news blinds. Wish me luck!
