FireBane's Cave

You are afraid to enter the room at the end of the Ember Chambers. You see a glowing form filling a large portion of the base of the room. Well you wanted to come here didn't you? So go on, push foreward. You hope FireBane isn't in his cave. Your guide is wary too and stays at the entrance of the cave, darting glances behind them every so often. The walls of FireBane's cave reflect red and are quite disturbing. You carefully walk toward the glowing, and from the emense heat eminating from it, you decide not to step any closer. The giant pool of magma gives off such intense heat that the air above it seems to shimmer. The distortion is disorienting and you stumble backward into something on the wall. You turn to find a raptor standing there. You trip and move away quickly, your pulse beating. But it is no more than a life-size very ferocious statue. The raptor is actually half human, the head being that of a rapotr with some kind of headdress on, the body below the neck a human wearing a wrap around their waist. They have some cuffs arund their wrists and one on their upper bicep. The human part is a well muscled male body and you are afraid at any moment the statue may come alive and hurt you. Tripping and falling as you rush toward the entrance of the cave you see why the guide didn't venture in, and you are escorted trembling back into the tunnel.
