Where to Plant Thoes Magic Beans

As a child, Link encounters a man selling Magic Beans. You can buy the beans inexpensively at first, but heads up! Each bean you buy he increaces the price of the next bean by 10 Rupees. You'll need 10 of those Magics Beans, so save those Rupees. Unlike most other iteams in the Kingdom of Hyrule, you won't find these just lying around.

There are 10 specific areas where you can plant you beans, marked by a light dirt area with a pre-dug hole. You can see these beanbeds only when link is a child, so make sure you visit every location in the game as both adult and child-even thoes that might be dangerous to a little boy.

Return to the beanbed as an adult, and you'll find a leaf large enough for Link to stand on and go for a ride. These leaves will carry Link around the immediate area, to previously unreachable places or providing shortcuts. You won't be disappointed.

Magic Bean Bed Locations

Hole 1: Kokiri Forest

The game's first bean hole lies right next the Kokiri Shop where u bought your first Deku Shield. When the leaf is fully grown, it will take Link around the Kokiri Forest and gives him access to the shelf where the leaf started with all kinds of goodies (rupees).

Hole 2: Lost Woods 1

Follow the tunnels west and south, past the field with the single Skull Kid, and you'll find the next beanbed. The leaf takes Link from one end of the area to the other also providing a shortcut to Hyrule Field's Bridge. It can be used for giving a few extra seconds to your time when giving Granny the Forest Mushroom in Kakariko Village.

Hole 3: Lost Woods 2

In the field southwest of the entrance to the Sacred Forest Meadow, you'll find a beanbed guarded by two enterprissing Business Scrubs. As an adult, Link can use the leaf on a nighttime journey to the above, where he'll find a cleverly hidden Gold Skulltula.

Hole 4: Kakariko Graveyard

Next to left most row of graves, a beanbed lies below a suspicios ledge. As an adult, Link can use the leaf platform to reach the ledge, which holds a Piece of Heart in a wooden crate.

Hole 5: Dodongo's Cavern

Blast the boulders away from this dungeon and you'll find the beanbed right infront of you when u walk in.

Hole 6: Zora's River

The Dirt Patch is right of the guy that Gives you the Magic Beans. The Leaf takes Link all around Zora's Domain

Hole 7: Lake Hylia

The Dirt Patch is right infront of the Lake Side Labratory. The Leaf will take you to the top of the Laboratory to the balcony. Up there is a Piece of the Heart.

Hole 8: Death Mountian Crater

The dirt Patch is next to the Warp Point. You need the "Bolero of Fire" to plant the bean before the time runs out. The bean will take Link to the top od the ash cones where the Piece of Heart is.

Hole 9: Gerudo Valley

As a young Link the Gerudo Theives gate the way to the Thieves Hideout so he can't pass. You need to dive down to the river below. Swim to the esge and make your way to the Gerudo Guard. Don't worry she's harmless. She won't do a thing. The Dirt Patch is right behind the cow.

Hole 10: Desert Colossus

When Link returns here as a childto get the Silver Ghuantlets, you can't help but to notice a Dirt Patch to the left of the entrance. This will take a Link on a Tour through the Dessert and on top of the arch is the Piece of the Heart.
