RULES AND REGULATIONS

PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING

REGISTRATION

You must be a registered member of the Ladder TourneyLeague in order toreceive reports from the Ladder Tourneys. This obligates you to report yourlosses, as well. You are required to provide your JNOGTgolf handle, your email address, and your Case's Ladder name. Your name will appear on the Active Players Roster within 24 hours of receivingyour Membership Registration. Please inform the LadderLeague immediately should there be any change in the required information. You may be removed from the Active Player Roster until the informationis updated. If you choose not to join the league, you may still"tee it up" with us in the Tourney Room. You will not be requiredto report your losses, nor will anyone be required to report you. You will beidentified as a Non-League Player on the Tourney Results, foundin the Leader Board Conference of the JNOGT Forums.

PLAYING THE TOURNEY

Please join three or four people to a game. Two golfers will beallowed to tee off when more than five minutes has passed and no othergolfers are available, or the tee times are about to close. One person cannotbe teed off alone. There will be a 30 minute tee off window. There will beNO exceptions made for late players or extended times to allow last minute download of the course file.

PUTTING

Putter only on the greens, except when the direct path to the hole is impeded by any obstruction.

BOOTS

1st Boot: No penalty, unless determined to be intentional to gain advantage.

2nd Boot: Player finishes game, receives no reports, and must report all eligible players who finish above, unless either boot is determined to be intentional to gain advantage.

3rd Boot: Disqualification and must report all eligible players.

Intentional Boots

If anyone in a game feels as though one of their group has bootedintentionally in order to gain an advantage he/she should file acomplaint with the Host. There will be a hearing at the completion of the Tourney to determine the validity of the charge. The word of one playeragainst another is insufficient to prove the charge. It requires at least twoplayers and it is the responsibility of the player bringing the charge to produce the witnesses. If the testimony of two players is that they feel the player booted intentionally, the host has no choice other than to disqualify the player and indicate that determination on the tourney report. The disqualified player receives no reports and must report all players who are entitled to reports.

NO SAVED GAME

This is Computer Golf and as such it has glitches. One of these is the boot with no saved game. Since there is no way of knowing score etc. we have no choice but to require those players who boot with no saved game to report all who are entitled to reports, and will be so noted on the tourney results.

QUITTING

If you tee off on the first hole, you are expected to putt out on the 18th hole. Everyone has had things come up which are unavoidable. However, this has been taken advantage of in the past. It has been decided that if you leave for ANY reason, you must report all eligible players. Players who quit before completing 18 holes will be noted on the tourney results.

REPORTING

The Ladder Tourney results will be posted in the Leader Board Conference of the JNOGT Forums. You should refrain from reporting until this list is published since the posted results will indicate which golfers are eligible for reports and those who are not eligible for reports. When you report your loss at Case's, you must indicate the day, date, and course you participated in the Comments section. This will ensure verification of your reports. Non-Reporters Please allow 24 hours from the time the results are posted to receive your reports. If after this time you feel you are missing one or more reports, visit the Ladder League Website and click on Non-Reports. You will be asked for your JNOGT name, ladder name, date of tourney, course played, and player's name you have the dispute with. The League will determine the validity of your claim and the non-reporting golfer will received email notification of the missing report and will be placed on the Non-Reporting Players List within 24 hours of the claim. The non-reporting player will not receive any reports for tourney play until they have completed the missing reports and have replied to their email notification that reports are current. The reply will be verified, and the golfer will be removed from the non-reporting player list within 24-hours of their reply.

NON REPORTERS AND NON LEAGUE PLAYERS

Any sysops who is placed on the nonreporters list shall have his/her sysops privileges suspended until all reports are updated. All nonleague members will be removed from the leaderboard posted at forums or will be placed at the bottom of the report to avoid the confusion of reporting them.

RESIGNING FROM CASE'S

Anyone may resign from Case's Ladder and/or change ladder name. However you MUST have made all your reports under your old name FIRST. Anyone found to have resigned from Case's and/or changed their Ladder Name without making all of their reports will be suspended from the League for 60 days and be designated as Non-League Player on posts. Also please remember that you are required to notify the League of the change.

HOSTS

Each day you will receive copies of the updated Active Players Roster, and the Non-Reporting Players list. After the players in the tourney have teed off, print a copy of the tournament report to get a list of all the names playing. Compare the tournament report to the Active Players Roster and the Non-Reporting Player list. Note any golfers who are not on the league roster, and those who ARE listed on the Non-Reporting Players list so you will have a reference when you do the final results post after the tourney. After the tourney, note any exceptions next to any player(s)'s name for reporting status. These include Non-League Player (NLP), Non-Reporting Player (NRP), 2-boot, 3-boot, disqualified, and "did not finish" players. You will be provided with standardized forms with the rules concerning each type player so you will just have to cut and paste results. Post the results within 30 minutes of the close of your tourney in theLeader Board conference found in JNOGT Forums.

These are the rules we have come up with. We believe they are fair and will promote an atmosphere of fun and fair play.

We hope you agree and choose to join us. So if you do, and will abide by these rules, Sign Up and Let the Games Begin.

Anyone who registers agrees to abide by set rules and stipulations
