Those Beautiful and Famous/Back Home
Nicole Hernandez

Stunner Nicole Hernandez is definitely not just
a famous face
on TV because of her countless commercials, but
is also,
undoubtedly, DLSU’s campus heartthrob.
ANGEL-FACED NICOLE
She’s the fresh face behind numerous print and
TV ads like Ivory,
Camay, Carefree, Pepsi, Secret, and Bayo. And
hers is that sweet
smile that led the DLSU basketball team during
the UAAP opening.
But no, don’t be deceived! She may look meek and
mild, but Nicole
can beat any cab driver in the bottleneck road
war. She giggles,
"Things can get really nasty if I’m stuck behind
slow drivers."
Aside from that, she claims to be some sort of a
daredevil, and
proclaims, "I’ll never pass up a challenge or a
dare. No way!"
Nicole says she’s more the
outspoken type–never hesitant
to express her thoughts and
will never walk away from any
argument…ah, firm and
head-strong, huh? "I’m a hard
worker," Nicole continues, "I
strive to do my best in
everything and am extremely
meticulous, especially when it
comes to schoolwork."
At 18, she’s already planned to
pursue a master’s degree then
work for a fashion magazine,
and eventually open her own
boutique–of course, inspired
by her favorite pastime,
shopping! On weekends, she’s
nowhere else to be found but the mall! Nicole
giggles, "I’m a
shopaholic, I admit! But I also like reading,
oil painting, sketching,
going to the gym, or simply hanging out with
friends."
Asked what her ideal guy is like, she’s quick to
answer, "I like abs!
I like guys who have a blend of Spanish and
Filipino features in
them; and it’s also very important that he’s
sensitive, funny, and
malambing."
