- Year of 2004 -
Ringling Brothers Circus, National Art Gallery, Old Ebbott Grill
Sat. March 27th

THIS CLOWN not only stood on this pipe, but juggled three knives to boot.

THE GRAND ENTRANCE!! What a sight!

NOT ONE, but many tigers. None tried to take this guy's head off.

BELIEVE IT OR NOT, there were 6 motorcyclists blowing around in this tiny little steel sphere.

BELLO AND FRIEND put on, probably, the best show on this tightrope act. Bello sat on a seat and then stood up on it, right on the wire!

AFTERWARDS WE headed to the National Art Gallery. Here we stood by a priceless Degas. Wow! Saw everything, Rembrandts, Renoirs, Van Goghs.

A WALK ALONG the National Mall produced this kite competition - the little dots in the background.

THE NIGHTCAP - a wonderful dinner at The Old Ebbot Grill!!

A Spring Day @ Camden Yard - April 24th

A BEAUTIFUL DAY greeted us as the Inner Harbor with temperatures in the low 80's.

THERE FOR SOME were the infamous water taxi's. No wind today, though to topple any over.

"...AND THE PITCH!!!" This was beginning of the demise for Oriole pitching.

THE 7TH INNING stretch caught on camera with the scoreboard. Notice how the sky was still so wonderfully blue, although the final score in the 12th inning left everyone blue as we all walked into the night......

....AND ONCE MORE found our way back to the Inner Harbor for a Starbuck's coffee and a trip to see the boats, here a skipjack.

Knights of Columbus Convention - May 21st - 23rd
Ocean City, Md.

SUZY BEAMED from ear to ear on the deck of Fager's Island. It was that kind of weather.

NOT TO BE outdone, so did Dianne and Guy. The view of the bay at sunset was magnificent. A good time all weekend.
***
Suzy's Junior Prom - May 28th

SUZY AND DAVID made a lovely couple......

AS DID Brian and Gloria Lynn, Brian coming all the way back from Frostburg for the occasion.

AND LAST but not least, Maria and David also gave a fine showing for themselves.

ALL DRESSED and ready to go....and the old folks have to stay 'til 4:30 am, too! Oyyyy, Veaaaaaa!!!

Eric and Stephen's Birthday Celebration - July 1st

THE GANG'S all here......well....minus Suzy who was on a cruise with Cliff. Tough, huh.

"WHAZZZZUPPPP with the identical shirts I got on," was what Steven was whining about.

NOBODY WHINED about the food at Bugaboo Steakhouse. Everything was perfect!

Opening Practice @ Redskins Park - Sat. July 31st
A LONG LINE awaited us to enter into the practice field, and this was after a huge meal and brews at the Old Dominion brewery. Hot, too, probably 95 degrees. A ferry boat ride from White's Ferry got us over here.

THE GIRLS seem unperturbed by the heat.......whereas.....

...THE OLD MAN harumphed and grumphed and took a seat while waiting.

ONE WOULD HAVE thought we were entering the White House with all these restrictions, but.............

IT WAS SURE worth the effort. "..AND THE QUARTERBACK'S back to pass...seees a receiver.........." Good stuff!

- Labor Day Weekend -
A HURRICANE busting up the coast busted up this weekend. Dinner at Higgins, boardwalk, breakfast at the Pirates' Den. What more could you want!
*****
- A Glorious Weekend - Sep. 23rd/24th -
DIANNE ENJOYED the sun and beach for the 1st time this year!

AT THE SUNFEST, the crab cakes were delicious........

...AS WAS THE music coming from the rock-n-roll band in the background.

ON THE WAY BACK to the car, one final glimpse on a true artist's impression. Some of the highlights: beautiful weather; a few at the Pirate's Den watching Maryland get beat by West Virginia; glorious oceanside walks both during the day and night; a spectacular sunset; a sad drive home.

Homecoming Dance & Tennis, welllll, we'll forget 'bout the tennis
October 8, 9 & 10
WITH THE BALL heading her way, Suzy pondered how to make a connection with Gloria Lynn looking on.

CROUCHED TO RETURN the serve of her Springbrook opponant, Susan looked forward to the return.

SATURDAY NIGHT, Homecoming! The beautiful couple.....

.....AND FRIENDS...........

.......AND LAST, but certainly not least...the whole gang was all here!!! Spent the night at Suzy's, too.

IN WE GO into the entrance to the White House. A shorter tour this, we didn't make it back to this point.

THE FIRST bend found this spectacular tree waiting for us, fully decorated and with WH Christmas cards from years past on the wall behind.

THE YELLOW ROOM, where the President welcomes guests of state.

THE YALE GLEE club performed in this ball room, it is also here al the press conferences are held and where the famous portrait of George Washington stands.

THE VIEW LOOKING towards the Washington Monument in the background.
