Myrtle Beach Vacation - July 12th - July 18th

THE VIEW from the balcony of B-213. "Beach, anyone?"

THE GLAMOR shot of the trip: from l. to r. - Dianne, Teresa, Gloria Lynn and Suzy.

FRIENDS, FOREVER. Suzy and Gloria Lynn muck it up at NASCAR theme park.

"FORE!" Gloria Lynn, Suzy and two friends played this hole at the putt putt.

DIANNE WON the round with the "older" crowd.

DAVID GAVE his take on the waves at Myrtal Beach.

DIANNE showed off her orange bikini.

MOM CONTEMPLATED the universe while strolling along the surf line.

THE MECCA was found and found missing in allure.

NOBODY TOLD THAT to little Scotty who found the artificial flame blower fascinating.

SPEAKING OF Scotty, here's the l'il fella leading the charge on the Go Cart track.

DIANNE AND GLORIA LYNN found the races exciting, as well.

BRIAN TRIED to put on a "bad" face but couldn't muster the image.

ONE FINAL PARTING SHOT and it was off to the "real" races, Hwy. 17.

TALK ABOUT RACING - Not!! The nightly sprawl and crawl of touristimos to the boardwalk and honky tonks of downtown Myrtal Beach. 1 1/2 hours it took to go 60 blocks!

THE PLACE WHERE the band, "Alabama," made it's name was just one block off the main strip.

NO DIFFERENT then the OC boardwalk, Myrtal Beach's was smaller, though - perhaps 4 blocks in length.

A FELLOW HURRICANE, Rich actually went to the Rose Bowl to see the Canes beat the Huskers. He also participated in both dives.

MY MAN, MIKE was my dive buddy from West Virginia. A volunteer rescue diver as well, Mike and I dove on the wrecks "The Governor and "The General Sherman."

DINNER ON THE first night was at a place called the "Chesapeake Seafood House." The food was OK but the service was as bad as this picture.
