Piano experience:
Jeremy Ragsdale started playing classical piano at age 7. He has performed in numerous piano recitals, and has performed as accompanist to choirs from Atlanta to New York City to Florida.
Vocal Experience:
Jeremy has participated in 4 Maryland All-State Choruses, and performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City with the MENC All-Eastern Division Honors Chorus (February, 1999). In February 2000, Jeremy traveled to Santa Monica, CA to perform in the 2000 GRAMMY® High School Jazz Choir. An alumnus of New England Conservatory of Music, he is now a student at Berklee College of Music, learning how to REALLY sing with famous jazz artists such as Kevin Mahogany and Walter Beasley.
Composition Experience:
Jeremy began composing music in 1997. Jeremy Ragsdale's first significant composition was entitled Doorway to the World, and was performed instrumentally for graduation ceremonies on May 25, 2000, with full orchestra and piano. Now he writes for his band back at home, "The COB Project". At Berklee, he has written charts for the Northeastern University A Capella group, "The Downbeats".
Conducting Experience:
Jeremy had the opportunity to act as the student conductor of the Broadneck Senior High School Vocal Ensemble and Concert Chorus. He conducted many diverse musical styles, which ranged from Calypso to Classical.
Other Hobbies:
Jeremy is a music dork. He lives, breathes, eats, and sleeps music. Any other time spent is usually on the computer.
