Epilogue
“Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, Sel and Angie. Happy birthday to you!” Selena blew out her candles. A “1" and a “3". Then she smiled and everyone clapped. Then Angelina did the same on her cake. Again, they clapped and cheered. The two girls, standing side by side, were finally teenagers.
Nick kissed both of them on the forehead, and then gave them gifts. Matching necklaces, matching bracelets, and new clothes which Shannon picked out. They both giggled at the fact that they had matching jewelry and gave Nick and Shannon hugs.
Rianna and Mark gave them their gifts. As well as AJ and Marcy, Jimmy and his girlfriend Christine, Aimee, Martín, Jane and Bob, BJ, Lesley, Aaron, Angel, Marie and Vincent, Brian and Lee, Kevin and Kristen, Howie and his girlfriend Lucia (Rianna’s cousin), and a swarm of their closest friends.
It was the first time ever that both sides of Selena’s family had been together like this. And it was the biggest surprise of her life. Mark’s family was there as well. It was just unbelievable. The Carters, The Ramóns, and now the Vincents. All in one area. All getting along.
She looked to her left and saw her Aunt Angel holding her little sister, Rain. And to her right, Shannon was talking to her Abuela Marie. She looked at Angelina and raised both eyebrows.
“It feels like a dream or something.” She said. Angelina nodded enthusiastically.
“I know! It’s so cool!” Angelina caught site of her next door neighbor, Kyle. She went over to him to talk, and it was so obvious that they liked each other. But Angie insistently denied it. Selena then went and sat next to her grandmother who was still talking to Nick.
“Abuela, Daddy... thanks for putting this together for us. It’s the most wonderful gift I’ve ever gotten.” Marie patted her granddaughter’s cheek and kissed her.
“Anything for you, Sel.” Nick said. Then he gave his teenaged daughter a hug. His little girl. The reason he and Rianna were friends in the first place.

Nick And Shannon are still dating. Taking things slow. But they have been talking about marriage lately.
Mark and Rianna are happier than ever. And Rianna is expecting their second child together. Although she is only a few weeks into the pregnancy.
AJ and Marcy have finally decided to renew their vows and have a proper ceremony. But they will hold it off until after Marcy has their third child. She too is but a few weeks pregnant.
Selena will be attending a school for the gifted come September. And she also plans on taking some college classes, just for fun. She still acts, and will be in her own movie next summer.
Angelina is still a sports fiend. She’s on the soccer, lacrosse, track, softball, and girl’s football team at her school. And she plans on being the worlds first professional WNFL player. And if that doesn’t exist by the time she finishes college, she’ll start it herself.
After Ginger married her deceased husband’s son, she wasn’t heard from again. Rumor has it that she drains him of every penny he makes and lives with him in a villa in Malta.
Rianna and Nick are still close. They’re a united front when it comes to raising Selena and the found that they get alone better as friends. Nothing more.
Oh yeah, Marie released a book about sex. “The Ways of Love”. In it she talks about her views about love-making... how it should and shouldn’t be done. This, of course, is all too familiar to Rianna, Marcy, Nick, AJ, Jimmy, Mark, and especially her husband!
