Meet The Parents

Rianna was pulling into her aunt’s driveway when she looked over at Nick. His head was low and his brow was a little shiny with perspiration.

“It’s ok, don’t be nervous. My family won’t bite you. Well, Lucia might because she’s freaky like that and you’re cute. But other than her...” Nick laughed and that was followed by a deep sigh.

“Just remember that hola means hello, of course. ‘¿Cómo estás?’ means ‘How are you?’. Answer by saying ‘muy bien’. Hopefully I’ll be with you in case it gets too complicated. Most of them speak Spanglish so you can pretty much infer what they are talking about. Never ask what is on your plate. Just eat whatever my abuela puts on there. If you ask, she’ll think that it disgusts you and she’ll be offended. Okay?” Nick nodded.

“I’ll be ok. This’ll be a piece of cake. No problem.” Rianna smiled and kissed him deeply. Nick’s hands stopped trembling at that very moment.

They stood together hand in hand as Rianna rang the doorbell. Her aunt answered and gave Rianna a hug the second their eyes met each other’s.

“Rianna, my baby! You look so pretty.” She paused. “And who is your handsome friend?” Nick’s face flushed pink.

“This is Nick, Tia, my boyfriend.” Rianna’s aunt, Soña welcomed him and gave him a tight hug as well.

They went in and greeted those standing around. Rianna’s mother came down the stairs with a huge smile on her face.

“Mi hija!” She opened her arms and wrapped them around her daughter.

“Mamá, this is my boyfriend, Nick.” Her mother looked the young man over. Nick felt himself shaking again.

“Well, he’s tall with good teeth. You have good taste, just like your dear old mother, hija.” Nick hugged Rianna’s mother and was beginning to feel some relief.

Rianna went on to introduce the rest of her family to Nick. It wasn’t long before he fit right in with the Ramóns.

“Where’s Papá?” Rianna asked, everyone seemed to point up to the ceiling.

“He’s resting. Said he’d be down soon enough. We woke up pretty early and it’s taking its tole on him.”

“¿Donde están mis hijos?” He hollered from the bottom of the stairs. Rianna, Marcy, and Jimmy flocked around him like small children would to an ice cream truck.

“Now, he’s the one you have to suck up to.” Soña whispered to Nick, sensing his uneasiness.

Everyone took their turn greeting him. And Nick knew his time had come, the moment of judgment.

“Te presento a mi novio, Nick.” She put her arm around him and her father examined him.

“Encantado, Nick. ¿Comó estás?” Nick thought back to his mini lesson.

“Muy bien, gracias.” There was a small sigh of relief in the room. From there things carried on as they had before Rianna’s father came down.

Fortunately, Nick didn’t have a need to question what was on his plate. It all smelled so good. And Rianna’s abuela used a lot of peppers and cheeses in her meal. Nick loved both of those things. He was even able to have a few good laughs with Rianna’s father.

Hours later, the couple were back at Nick’s house resting.

“You did rather well, and I’m impressed.” Nick glistened with pride. Then he rubbed his nails on his shirt sarcastically.

“You deserve a lap dance. Whose hat is this?” She picked up a black cowboy hat from the table and put it on her head.

“It’s AJ’s I brought it up here so the dog’s wouldn’t hide it or chew it all up.” Rianna smiled and went into the bathroom. When she came back out, she was only wearing her bra, underwear, and the hat.

“Ready for that dance?” Nick looked up amazed. She put in her Madonna CD and played the “Don’t Tell Me” song.

“Don’t tell me to stop. Or tell the rain not to drop. Tell the wind not to blow, cause you said so....” Nick’s heart was racing. There he was on a bed with his girlfriend climbing all over him wearing next to nothing.

“You don’t know what this is doing to me, girl.” She kissed his ear and giggled.

“Yes I do. I know exactly what I’m doing. I’m rewarding you for impressing my parents. Besides, we’ve been fooling around so much lately, Why not follow through with it? You deserve a little lovin’. So---- don’t tell me to stop.” Nick took the cowboy hat off of her head and her long brown wavy hair fell to her shoulders and back. Then he loosened her black bra and let it slide off.

“How do they look, being it’s the first time you’ve seen them?” Nick just swallowed hard, not able to form words. But the jargon of a very horny male slipped out. Rianna got up and turned the music down low. She pushed her panties to the floor and shut the lights off.

For both of them, it was an adrenaline rush for several consecutive hours after that.
