WWTT CHALLENGE...
We do not agree with the "What Would They Think Challenge". And we'll tell you why. Summer has actually met two of the boys, and they have absolutely no problem whatsoever with fans writing about them in a sexual environment. They've even admitted to reading such fan fiction and finding it quite humorous as well as entertaining. Besides, as long as I'm not stalking them down and tying them to a bed, where's the harm? Sex is fun! It's fun to talk about and even more fun to do! But we think writing about it is a hell of a lot safer than doing it! Don't you? And come on, whoever thought up the WWTT thing HAD to have fantasized about them at least once! With Nick's gorgeous ass and AJ humping the stage.... who couldn't think naughty thoughts? OTHER MALE GROUPS...
We have been asked by 12 people so far why we don't write about other male singing groups such as N*SYNC, 98 Degrees, O-Town, etc. Well, we don't know enough about N*SYNC to write about them. 98 Degrees don't seem interesting to us. And O-Town suck donkey balls in our humble opinion. They can't carry a note in a bucket. *Rain

SISTER SITES...
I received an email just yesterday (06/29/01) from two girls who have started a site and want to link up to ours. One of the girls had some stories that I found to be breathtaking. The other had a few stories that I had trouble even understanding. They were juvenile and had no plot whatsoever. I hate to knock other people, but those fics were just ri-god-damn-diculous. Seriously. I believe she wrote six whole chapters with nothing but dialogue in which Nick discussed dating with his female best friend. I got so sick of reading him say "Do u like me? Cuz I like u. R u seeing ne1?" Listen, we would be more than happy to link up with people. Just as long as you have more written than conversations like the one above, and you use full words, not chat abbreviations. And don't get us wrong, we know how hard it is to write. Cause we get pressured to update and stuff all the time. But come on! What book publisher do you know who WOULDN'T laugh his/her ass off at something like that? Let's be real, folks! *Butterfly

NICK'S WEIGHT!!!
Every time I go into a BSB chat room, there are people there saying how Nick has gained so much weight and looks really fat. That is so wrong. Nickolas G. Carter is not fat in any way, shape, form, or fashion! Just because he is not skin and bones does not qualify him as over weight. In fact, those of you who say that about him, and you know who you are, you're the same ones who need to examine your own imperfections...which you probably have a ton of. Yeah, you.... you with the big nose. And you, don't try to duck now, you know you don't need to be wearing that shirt with all those stretch marks you have! And you, the blonde in the back... you're killing me with that acne! See? It ain't so cool when you get talked about, is it?

Nick sees what people say about him, and he has feelings too. Keep that in mind! He's a human fucking being, people! And that gives you NO RIGHT to judge him. Only God can judge him, and I seriously doubt God is saying "Mmm, Nick needs to cut back on those Snickers." Think about it. I also want to thank those BSB fans out there who have faithfully defended Nick. You guys are the real fans! *Rain

WHY THE ROMANCE???
We got an email from someone who claimed to have read everything on the site thus far. And that's great. But she wants to know why we focus on love and romance so much. Well, there's a simple answer to this. Love is such a beautiful thing. And when you're a hopeless romantic like all three of us are, you tend to dwell on love. I know that Heather has been dating her boyfriend for almost 2 years now. Summer and her boyfriend have their ups and downs. But the way I see it, they have a bright future. As for me, I'm deeply in love with my guy, Vin. So if loving someone is a big part of your life, it will probably come out in your writing. You feelin' me?

However, we do try to make the stories on this site as well-rounded as possible. There are romantic stories with happy endings. And there are dramas. And for those who check the site regularly, we'll be putting up some sci-fi/adventure stories once the stories posted are completed. Hope this clears things up! *Rain

This girl asked us where all the Kevin, Brian, and Howie stories are on this site. Sure, they are mentioned in almost every story. BUT! She wants to know when they'll get stories of their own. Well.... we love Kev, Bri, and D to death! We do! But Nick and AJ happen to be our favorites. So we stick to what we love. But, like we said above, new stories are on the way! It's just that with school starting, we'll be set back a little. Just rest assure that Richardson, Littrell, and Dorough will have their day!!!! How do we feel about Willa Ford? *Tapping nails on the desk and thinking* Well, we don't know her personally. So to say that she's a heinous bitch is a little unfair. However, just based on her music, she sucks. Sure she writes her own music, but a million people do that. Is she good at it? Well...*chuckle, chuckle* ... how talented do you have to be to write "I Wanna Be Bad"? If the song had meaning, or depth, or SOMETHING.... then we could say she's an alright singer/songwriter. But the song sucks, she can't sing very well, and we think her fans will be better off renting a few movies from Blockbuster rather than buying her CD. And excuse us, but putting on some tight shorts and dancing around in a video doesn't make you bad. It makes you look like a cheap bus station skank. Willa, give it up! *Butterfly

BAD JAMIE, BAD...
We cannot believe what Jamie Foxx said about AJ. In fact, we are so enraged that we will make this Garden Entry as short/simple as possible. Number 1: The joke was not even funny, even if we weren't fans of AJ, we wouldn't have laughed. Number 2: Jamie is the last person who needs to make jokes with those donkey teeth in his mouth. Number 3: The last time we checked, AJ has a million girls pouring themselves over him cause of his voice (including us) and Jamie only sings those whack ass themes to his CANCELED sitcom!!! THE VIEW/TRL WITH BSB...
Did you guys see BSB on the View a while ago? Kevin mentioned wanting to have kids. That is sooo beautiful that he's ready to be a father. Can you imagine? A Backstreet Daddy? Also, they were all looking something kinda good. And they looked even better on TRL. We were so f'n shocked when they walked out. We were sure they were somewhere else via satellite! AJ and Nick, lookin' hot! And Nick, if you ever come across this, just know that the facial hair is a definite plus, baby! Brian, the bandana is so sexy. Wouldn't it be tight if BSB did some kind of remix with Timbaland??? I was just listening to the way he worked with Bubba Sparxxx and Nelly Furtado. The man is talented with remixes. All I know is if BSB and Timbaland did mix, I'd be the first up in Sam Goody getting them to hold a copy for me!!! *Rain

In Loving Memory...
One of our very best friends and a talented writer has left us recently. Elise C. Moore, a true heaven-sent, passed away on January 3, 2002. Though she only lived 16 years, she has made an impact on our lives that will last an entire lifetime, and certainly beyond that. And because of this we do not mourn her death, but we revel in the idea of what a blessing she was to our lives. Visit our little tribute to her here. Thanks. *Butterfly

Congratulations and kudos to AJ and Sarah! They're engaged! We know they've been engaged for a while, but hey, it's never too late to give the happy couple their props! We don't know much of anything about her, but if she keeps a smile on AJ's sexy lips... then it's all gravy, baby! We also wanna send kudos to Nick and Howie. Why? NICK vs. JUSTIN...
SO, Nick's going solo and Justin is too. Well, well, well. What do we have here? "Young-cute-blonde-boy" rivalry? Nope, I don't think so. And I'll tell you why. Just like I'm sure many of my fellow BSB fans have done, I searched for Nick's new song "Help Me" on the internet. And I found it. I listened to the entire thing and then I found Justin's song, "Like I Love You". I compared the two, and assuming that each of their solo albums will sound much like their first singles, I can honestly say that they are not competing each other. The two songs are SO different it's not even funny. Nick has stuck close to home, even though it has a dab of rock in it. Justin, however, has completely delved into hip-hop and R+B... collaborating with the Neptunes and Clipse (Grindin') in this new single.

Don't get me wrong, people, Nick's song is quite good. He does have a unique sound. And I'm sure he worked extremely hard on this new album. Even so, my personal music tastes don't embrace that pop/country/rock sound all in one. Honestly, his song is like the male version of a Michelle Branch or Venessa Carlton song. And I love Venessa and Michelle's ok, it's just that when Nick sings that way, it takes some getting used to.

As for Justin, his song I immediately fell in love with. I couldn't help it. I was watching MTV news with that Iann guy, and he played Justin's sample and I almost died. It's just the type of song I can learn and fall in love with within the course of a day. But then again, being a kinda/sorta Nsync fan, I've always known that Justin (and JC for that matter) had the ability to go solo and be successful. Cause they're the only ones that sing anyway, lol. They carry each and every album Nsync has ever cut. Anyway, Justin's song is hot. And when he hits those notes, even the most diehard BSB fan would have to sing his praises. You can dance to it, play it at parties, and its the type of song even guys would openly admit to liking. I played it for my boyfriend, and he loved it. And he hates both BSB and Nsync. So, I have no regrets in saying that Justin has already won my $14.99 when his CD hits Sam Goody. Nick's CD may have to grow on me a little more.

Many of you may be sitting at your comps thinking that I'm a traitor! But that's not the case! It's not about being faithful to one group or the other. One artist or the other. It's about the music. And in my humble opinion, Justin's music touches me much deeper than Nick's right now. So if you still think I'm selling out cause I chose Justin over Nicky, go to hell! Syke... you're entitled to your own opinion. All I ask is that you don't go ga-ga over Nick's album, Now or Never just because you want to add to your collection or because you 'love' him so much that not purchasing his album would kill you. Buy it because you feel the music. After all, the music is really what this is all about. Right? *Rain

HAD ANOTHER THOUGHT...
Speaking of solo albums... AJ should go solo. Just picture it, AJ on his own. If only for one album. I just love his voice so much. So soulful and thick. Ugh! And just judging by his behavior, I know his songs would be... well... you know... AJ! And then if he had the Neptunes to work with him on remixes maybe (can you tell that I love the Neptunes by now?) I mean, they worked wonders with "The Call". Who knows? Then again, it was just a thought I had. *Rain

Bought Justin's Album...
I was in Target doing some Christmas shopping for my little brothers, and I came across Justin's solo album Justified. I made some comments about his new endeavors as well as Nick's. And I'm sorry, but I made my choice judging on the two singles out. I liked "Like I Love You" far better than Nick's "Help Me." And I must say, MTV's habbit of playing them back to back in their regular circulation cycle helped me to compare.

Well, Justified is by far one of the best CDs that I own. In fact, it's right up there with Incubus' Morning View. I'm in the process of listening to the entire thing now, and I really respect a CD that I can play from the first song to the last without skipping to my favorites--- cause their all my favorites! When you're listening, if you close your eyes, it's almost like he's singing to you, and it's you that he's writing all these songs for. I'm fighting the urge to get lost in his soung RIGHT NOW AS I TYPE!

But hey, you gotta make the call for yourself. All I know is that I will be buying another one of Justin's CDs, that way one will be in my car, and the other in my room! Know what I mean? *Rain
