Merit Badge File Names
The following table gives the file names for the
Merit Badge Requirements found on this system in the www.usscouts.org/mb/
directory. The File names are based on the numbers
assigned to each Merit Badge by BSA for their Council
Advancement records.
For example, Camping Merit Badge has been assigned
Number 1 by BSA, and is found at www.usscouts.org/mb/mb001.html,
and the color graphic for the Merit Badge is at www.usscouts.org/mb/patch/mb001c.gif.
Merit Badge names
and numbers shown in this format have been discontinued
by BSA, and are included in this table only for reference
purposes. There are no files with these names, except for
Skiing (No. 104), which is in the /mb/old/ directory.
There are 2 versions of the Hiking
and Cycling graphics.

mb061c.gif
have green borders, and
mb039rc.gif
and mb061rc.gif
have silver borders,
in line with the change of these Merit Badges to Required
status in1999.
There are also 2 versions of the
Safety and Sports graphics.

mb013c.gif
have silver borders, and
mb012oc.gif
and mb013oc.gif
have green borders,
in line with the change of these Merit Badges to Elective
status in 1999.
NOTE:
The number of Snow Sports MB had previously been reported
by us as No. 135, based on information we received from
BSA. We have now been informed that it is
simply a renaming of the former Skiing MB, and will be
listed as No. 104. mb104c.gif is the older Skiing graphic. mb104Ac.gif is the new Snow Sports graphic.
