He led me back to the table and we sat down in silence.
“Are you okay?” he asked tenderly.
“Yes, thank you,” I said looking into his eyes.
“What was that all about?” Justin and Nick asked as they ran up to the table.
“Just JC being my knight in shining armor,” I smiled, still a little shaky.
“You’re sure you’re okay?” Nick asked again.
“Yes Nick, I’m fine.”
“Okay. Be right back. I’m going to go have a talk with that guy,” Nick said.
“Hey boy. As much as I want to do the same, violence is not the answer,” Justin calmed him down.
“Thanks guys, but I really don’t want you to get in trouble for me. I’m not worth it.” I smiled.
“Well fair princess, that is where you are wrong,” Chris said as he gave me a hug.
“Laura, it’s late and we’re leaving early this morning for Seattle. We should get back to the hotel,” one of my security guards said.
“Alright Jamie,” I said to him. “I guess this is good bye then,” I said to the rest of them. We all exchanged phone numbers with promises to call. Chris fake sobbed until I promised that I wouldn’t forget him. I looked at JC one last time, and left the club alongside my dancers.

I woke up hours later and bumped my head trying to sit up.
“Oww!!”
“Are you okay Laura?” Dan asked running in.
“How did I get onto the bus?” I asked confused.
“Chris carried you and Peter and I got your stuff,” Dan said.
“Oh, thanks,” I laughed.
I got up and ate a bagel with vege cream cheese.
“Chris, what is on my schedule today?”
“You have an interview with Teen Beat and the night off!” he told me.
“Yippee! Girls night!” Shannon shouted.
“As long as there is plently of junk food and caffeine, I’m in!” I said.
“Anything you want!” Kirsten laughed, “you know that all the hotels give you anything you want complementary.”
“Yeah, I’ve never understood that,” Jason said.
“It’s because the hotels get tons of fans who like to stay where she does! Duh!” Peter said as he hit Jason lightly over the head.
We arrived at the hotel in Seattle a little while later, and I went off to my interview with Teen Beat. After about two and a half hours of the interview and photo shoot, I headed back to the hotel and to Shannon’s room.
“Yay! Laura is here so we can start!” Kirsten cheered.
We sat down with all our junk food and watched Glass House, Legally Blonde, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. After the movies were over, we ordered two large pizzas and formed a circle to talk.
“Laura, I have a question for you,” Brittany said. “Is everything okay? We’ve been noticing your lack of sleep lately, and we’re all worried about you.”
“To tell you the truth, I have no idea why I have been sleeping less lately. I mean, I have everything I could want, but it still seems as though there is something that’s missing,” I sighed.
“Well, do you have any ideas as to what it could be?” Kirsten asked.
“I have no idea. I was that Ani was here, but she’s probably busy working and wouldn’t be able to visit.”
“Ani is your other best friend from home, right?” Shannon asked.
“Yeah, we’ve known eachother since we were really little. She knows more about me than even Chris does,” I sighed again.
We talked for a little longer about guys. Brad and Kirsten had been keeping in touch almost every day, we we were all wondering what was going on between them. We talked until 1:30 the next morning and then all fell asleep.
