I hobbled into my room that night, and laid down on my bed, not noticing the eight people who were gathered in front of my tv.
“Is she okay?” Lance asked confused.
“She looked happy, but she didn’t even acknowledge our presence,” Justin laughed.
“Let’s go see,” Ani suggested, walking over the the bedroom.
“Laura? Laura?!” Sayde said, waving her hand over my face.
“Huh? What?” I asked, awaking from my trance.
“Why so spacey?” Brit asked.
“Oh, that,” I said, smiling bashfully.
“Ouhh! Who is it girl? That’s definitely a guy produced smile!” Kirsten laughed.
“You all know him,” I sighed.
“Hmm…all the Backstreet guys are at the studio, Chris and Joey are at a club…wait…where’s JC?” Justin asked.
At the mention of JC’s name, my face shone even brighter.
“JC?! Finally! Justin, you owe me money!” Sayde exclaimed.
“Wait, you guys made a bet?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Yes! We were all really surprised when you announced you were going to date Nick!” Lance exclaimed.
“We were all voting for JC! You two seemed to totally hit it off, and we all thought you would be the happy couple!” Ani stated.
“You all are funny,” I giggled.
“She’s giggling like a school girl!” Justin chuckled as I stuck my tongue out at him.
“Hey, don’t stick that thing out unless you plan to use it,” Lance joked.
“Well, JC isn’t here,” I smirked.
“Touche!” Sayde laughed. “Anyways, I want details!”
I clued them in as to what happened.
“Your knees went weak? Girl, you’re in deep!” Ani giggled.
“I know! He’s so incredible! I really hope this relationship works!”
“We all think it will! We’ve been waiting for you to realize your feelings for each other, and it’s finally happened!” Justin smiled.
“Yeah. Anyway, it’s time for me to go to sleep! I’m tired!” I yawned.
“Goodnight Princess,” Lance said, kissing my forehead.
“Goodnight,” I yawned, before falling asleep, still in my clothes.

I woke up the next morning, and hurried off to the studio to record the last two songs on the record.
I slipped in and said hi to Nick, Brian, Kevin, AJ, and Howie, who were working on their own album. I entered my studio a few minutes after I was supposed to.
“Nice of you to join us,” Tom greeted me.
“Sorry I’m late! I was being social,” I smiled.
“Okay, as long as we get through this today. We want to finish editing by the end of tomorrow so we can give it to the manufactures.”
“Sounds good!”
~*~*~*~Six Hours Later~*~*~*~
“Yes! Finally!” I said, crashing on my bed after hours of recording.
“You okay?” a voice asked, startling me.
“Hey JC. Yah, I’m finally done with recording!” I smiled, giving in to his kisses.
“When is the new album released?” JC asked between kisses.
“Two more weeks! I can’t wait! And tomorrow I’m starting a ton of promotion things!”
“That’s cool! Hey, I was wondering, we have that huge MTV party tomorrow, and I was wondering if you’d go as my date,” JC asked, giving me puppy dog eyes.
“Like I’d say no! But are you sure you’re ready? You know there’s going to be tons of reporters!”
“I wouldn’t have asked if I didn’t plan on going through with it,” he smiled.
“Then I’d love to be your date,” I answered, giving him a kiss.
“Wanna play a game?” JC asked.
“Sure, what game?”
“What about war? Except with slightly different rules.”
“Sure, but I suck at war!” I whined.
“Then you’re really going to like this version of it! Whenever I get a higher card or beat you at war, I have to give you a kiss,” he winked.
“Ouhh, really?” I giggled.
“Yeah!” he smiled giving me a kiss.
“Wow, I don’t think anyone loses this way!” I continued to giggle until he gave me another kiss.
“Let’s play!” JC dealt the cards.
“King versus two!” *smack*
“I’m definitely going to enjoy this game!” JC smiled.
Many kisses later, and JC and I each winning a game, we decided to order room service, and watch a movie. We settled on Coyote Ugle, and sat back into eachother’s arms. About an hour into the movie I felt my eyes closing and fell asleep, happier than I’d been in a long time.
