A week passed by and I hadn’t been able to see the others as much as I would have liked. I had been in the studio working on my new cd. Today I was going to shoot my newest video, and then Nick and I were going on our first official date.
“There you are Laura!” the director said as I walked onto the set.
“Sorry, they whisked me off to wardrobe as soon as I got here so I wasn’t able to say hi first!” I smiled, hugging Wayne, who directed most of my videos.
“How are you Laura?” he asked.
“Fine! You?”
“Good. We have one change to inform you of though! Josh Hartnett’s flight was cancelled and there was no way he’d be able to make it on time, so we found you another guy. His group was here yesterday, and he offered to replace him.”
“Well, who is this new guy?” I asked.
“Hey girl!” Two hands covered my eyes, and I heard someone speaking in a daffy duck voice. I turned around and found Nick.
“You’re going to do the video with me?” I smiled.
“Yup! Unless you don’t want me to,” he pouted.
“Of course I want you to! Are you sure we can handle all the rumors?” I teased.
“I’m sure I wouldn’t mind hundreds of people thinking we’re together!” he laughed.
“Well good!” I smiled.
“Okay Laura, we need to get started,” Wayne interrupted.
The video was being shot along the beach and boardwalk. The whole concept was that I had gotten into a fight with my boyfriend and ran out onto the boardwalk and then onto the beach. My boyfriend runs up and apoligizes for his stupidity. At the end he kisses me passionately.
We started filming at the beginning, and my part went pretty quickly. We got to the parts with Nick, and after one take, Wayde called us over.
“I have to admit, that was the easiest shoot I’ve ever done. You two just did that perfectly! We’re done! The video can now air tomorrow, because Making The Video had everything they needed!”
“Wow! That was so fast! We can go to the beach and meet up with everyone!” I smiled.
“Wait, I need to do one thing first,” Nick said as we got to my car. He leaned in and kissed me tenderly. I pulled him closer to me and ran my fingers through his hair. I moaned into his lips.
“I’ll see you at the hotel,” I said after we finally broke away from our kiss.”
“Later Princess!” he kissed me on my cheek before I got in the car and drove away.
