“…I miss you too Ju Ju. I know…but there isn’t anything I can do about it. The group has to do this promo; you know how forceful Johnny can be when it comes to stuff like this. I will call you as soon as I get back to the hotel, ok? I love you and I’ll talk to you later. Ok, bye.” Destini sighed as she closed her phone and placed it on her lap. She continued to gaze out of the limo as it sped along the expressway.
“Is he still giving you a hard time about being away for Christmas?” Jen questioned when she noticed the frustrated look on Destini’s face as she tried to figure out how he could be so difficult at times.
“Yeah, I really don’t understand where he’s coming from sometimes. He knows my feelings about Christmas, and it’s not like he doesn’t know what it’s like to constantly be on the road. I mean, I know how important the holiday season is to him and his family, but what can I do? Sometimes I wonder how we got together in the first place, we have so many differences.”
“Opposites really do attract.” Xander sarcastically replied. She had finally gotten time off from the magazine for the holidays, to spend time with her best friends on the road and now Destini and Justin were arguing, again. Sometimes she just didn’t know how they stayed together while each other was on the road. When they were together, they were in perfect harmony with each other, but when they were apart…god help them. It was as if missing each other caused them to turn into complete strangers, always arguing about being away. She understood how stressful that type of relationship was, her and Lance had their share of problems too, that’s why she just kind of ignored those type of comments from Destini. Within two weeks she would be home again in his arms, and everything would be wonderful again.
“Oh really, Xander? That’s nice.” Destini replied, rolling her eyes. “I wish this promo tour would just hurry up and end already, so I can go home and see him. I hate being away, especially during the holiday season, even though I don’t celebrate Christmas, the lights are so pretty and I love making snow angels with him in the snow…” Destini’s gaze returned to the window and the blur of passing buildings. Her mind drifted off to her memories of her and Justin together…
*************************TWO WEEKS LATER************************
“What the hell is going on?” Destini whispered as she slowly lifted her head from Chariti’s shoulder. The last thing she remembered was boarding the plane what felt like five minutes ago. She had been so exhausted, mentally and physically. Justin continued to pour on the guilt for the remaining two weeks of the tour, and she had gotten basically no sleep stressing over the situation.
“The snow storm, the plane has been circling the airport for almost two hours now. The pilot said we should be landing soon.” Chariti responded, obviously annoyed by the inconvenience. She too was anxious to get back to JC; the guys had been on break for almost three months now, after deciding to take time off before touring again.
“I wish I could get off this damn plane already. I hate flying, especially during this kind of weather, why couldn’t we have just taken the train or something.” Xander said. She hadn’t seen Lance in forever it seemed, and now her she was stuck on a plane circling above the very place he was awaiting her arrival.
“Xander will you just chill, look we’re landing now. Your little Lancey poo can wait a few minutes longer, it won’t kill him.” Jen said. She was just ready to get home, in a real bed and stay there forever.
Xander flashed her an annoyed look; she hated when Jen called him that. But she knew she was right, unfortunately.
Destini pulled herself up in her chair and closed her eyes as she felt the plane come to a halt on the runway. Here we go, she thought to herself, another wonderful Christmas with the gang.
************************IN THE AIRPORT****************************
“Hey babe!!” Xander squealed as she ran to Lance’s opened arms. They made their way over to a corner to “re-familiarize” each other.
JC embraced Chariti passionately, and led her by the hand to baggage claim. Jen, followed closely behind bobbing her head to the music that was blaring through her headphones.
Destini’s eyes swept across the airport terminal and spotted Justin instantly. He was standing there, looking as gorgeous as ever with his hands behind his back staring out the window watching the snow fall as the sun sank to the horizon. The sun reflecting through the glass cast an orange glow, which illuminated his softest features. Too absorbed in his own thoughts, he hadn’t noticed Destini step off the plane.
Quietly she crept over to him and ran her index finger along his jaw. Startled, he jumped back and grabbed her hand with full force.
“Destini!! Hey babe…god you scared the shit out of me!!” Justin replied. He gazed at her softly, almost forgetting while she was gone how beautiful she really was. He reached over and pulled her into his embrace, wrapping his arms around her waist
She sighed as her small frame melted into his chest; it felt so good to be home. Standing there in his arms, she realized why she loved him so much, they fit together perfectly. There were no awkward moments between them, they always had something to talk about and if they weren’t talking they were laughing at something stupid the other one said.
“I have missed you so much, you wouldn’t believe how many sleepless nights I’ve had just thinking about being wrapped up in your body.” Justin whispered into her ear as he planted a soft kiss on her neck.
Destini squirmed in his arms as his kiss sent chills up her spine. She wrapped her arms tighter around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss.
Just as they began to become comfortable in their surroundings, they were noisily interrupted as a pile of suitcases was being dragged past them. Immediately followed by Chariti and Jc, Xander and Lance, and Jen laughing at Joey and Chris as they made jokes about each other.
“I guess its time to go. We’ll just have to finish later on.” Destini whispered as she pulled out of Justin’s hungry grasp. She grabbed his hand and led him out of the airport and into the limo waiting outside in the back. She couldn’t wait to get home and into bed with Justin, that one place where she had no worries or fears.
*************************FINALLY HOME****************************
“Finally! It feels so nice not having to worry about where I have to be next, what I should and shouldn’t say, and crazy fans ready to pounce on me every opportunity they get.” Destini sighed as she flopped down on the couch.
“You’re not the only one who is glad you’re home.” Justin smirked. He loved their homecomings, they were always so full of passion and long sweaty nights.
He sauntered over to where Destini was sitting and pushed his way in between her legs, slowly rubbing the inside of her thigh.
“Don’t start something you can’t finish, Mr. Timberlake.” Destini teased. Although she had been away for so long, she hadn’t forgotten how good it felt to make love to him.
“Trust me honey I intend to finish, in due time.” Justin returned playfully as he leaned down to kiss her softly on the lips. He traced kisses along her jaw and down her neck to the soft valley between her breasts. Responding almost mechanically to his touch, Destini spread her legs wider to provide more room for his maneuvering.
Just as he was about to remove her shirt, he glanced up to see her gaze locked on his, slightly biting at her lip in anticipation at what was to follow. He smiled to himself, truly basking in the fact that he was only one at that moment that could give her the release she desperately needed. He pulled himself up to kiss her full, pouty lips, this time with more hunger and animalism, plunging his tongue into her mouth. Parting from the earth-shattering kiss, Justin whispered, “I love you”.
As he was about to continue on his journey, the phone rang. Brrriiinnnnggg!! “Damn!!” Justin whispered loudly as he pulled himself up from the couch.
“Just ignore it JuJu Bee, I’m sure they’ll call back later if it’s important.” Destini replied, annoyed at the fact that whenever they seemed to be getting comfortable they were interrupted.
“No, I have to answer it. It’s probably my mom, she wanted me to call as soon as we got back, she cooked you a surprise welcome home dinner.” Justin said, obviously so overcome with frustration to really comprehend what he had just said.
“A surprise dinner?? For me!?! Oh yeah! I’ve never had a surprise anything in my life. I remember when I was little I used to tell people to throw me a surprise party, but…”
“D, you have to put those excellent acting skills of yours to work, YOU HAVE TO ACT SURPRISED!!” Justin exclaimed, interrupting her mid-thought.
“Ummm, J the phone is still ringing. You may want to answer it before the person hangs up.” Destini smirked.
“Right…Hello?? Oh, hi MOM…” Justin’s eyes got really big putting a physical exclamation point on his previous request. “No, no we’re fine…she’s fine…yeah, we just got home…ok…we’ll be over in about an hour…Mom, she has to shower and stuff, she has been on a plane for 3 hours…OK, ok…Love you too…Bye.” Justin sighed deeply as he placed the phone on the table.
“So, I guess we have to reschedule again huh?” Destini sighed, standing up and straightening her shirt and fixing her hair.
“I’m sorry babe, but you know how my mom is, she loves you to death and if I didn’t know any better I’d say she missed you more than I did.” Justin smiled as Destini cracked a smile. God I love that smile, he thought to himself as he tried not to pounce on her at that moment. “You better go get ready, otherwise we will never get there.” Convincing himself more than her at the moment.
“Okkkaaaayyyy, if that’s what you want.” She whispered as she ran her finger along his well shaped chest, forming a path down his stomach, stopping just as she reached his very apparent, throbbing member.
“D, please don’t do this to me, you know that if I had any choice in the matter, we would not have any clothes on right now, but I can’t hog you to myself, not now anyway.” Justin pleaded with her, loving the way her innocence transformed in a matter of moments to pure sex goddess.
“Ok, see ya in a little while babe.” Destini replied as she made her way to the stairs, glancing back to see the very torn, very tormented Justin, apparently using every ounce of his being to restrain himself. How she loved to tease him, especially when it came to the point where it was either obeying his momma, or her. She knew he loved her, but she loved to use her womanly ways to make him squirm.
********************Longer Than a Little While Later*******************
“Destini!!, Will you please hurry up!?!?!?” Justin yelled from the bottom of the stairs. He glanced at his watch and sighed deeply when he saw that they were supposed to be at his mom’s house an hour ago.
“I’m coming!” Destini sweetly called down, as she made her way to the top of the stairs. “Ah hah, exactly the reaction I was looking for”, she thought to herself as she stared down at the wide eyed Justin. Her short electric blue skirt fit just right, as her black shimmery shirt fell very nicely, and low, with her black knee length boots and her black, fitted leather jacket to complete the look she had loved on the model in the window in NY. “You like??” Destini smirked.
“Wow…You look…Wow, if we weren’t already as late as we are I would ask you to change…or just stay here and never leave, but we can’t. Let’s go sexy.” Justin stammered as she made her way down the stairs.
As they made their way to momma Lynn’s, Justin found it very hard to concentrate on the road and Destini loved every moment of it.
“I have missed you so much JuJu Bee.” Destini said as she stared out the window at the snow flurries that had begun to fall.
“Me too, babe, me too…” Justin replied. Scared at how much he really had missed her. “She really is my everything”, he thought to himself as the headlights filtered through the heavily falling snow.
**********************At Momma Lynn’s****************************
“SURPRISE!!!!!”
“Oh My!!!” Destini exclaimed as she walked through the door. She didn’t really have to do much acting, because although she had known about the dinner, she hadn’t known that everyone was in on it. Before her eyes she saw Chariti and JC, Xander and Lance, Jen, Joey, and Chris. They had been in on it. No wonder it seemed like they had virtually disappeared once the limo got to JC’s house.
Before she could say anymore, Lynn walked up and engulfed Destini in her arms. “It’s so nice to see you again dear, we have all missed you so much.” She replied with her strong southern accent.
“Thank you, oh wow, you guys really didn’t have to do all this for me. I wasn’t the only one gone for so long.” She replied as she cast a glance towards Xander, Chariti, and Jen.
“We know honey, we have missed you all so much, personally I was surprised to see Xander here, but this is for all of you. We just thought it would be nice to surprise just you.” Paul replied, smiling warmly at all of them as they gathered around for a group hug.
“You deserve it honey. Enjoy.” Xander whispered to Destini.
“Ok, lets let her get past the doorway, there are others who want a piece of the action.” Joey exclaimed.
“Well, everyone needs to get their hugs in quick before dinner gets cold.” Lynn shouted above the individual conversations that had begun.
“Come with me, I have another surprise for you.” Justin whispered in Destini’s ear as he grabbed a hold of her wrist and led her through the crowd of people.
“Justin, what are you doing!! You’re the one who was so anxious to get here, now you’re the one who wants to leave already. What about your mom, she’s going to notice we’re gone.” Destini stammered as Justin picked up the pace and she was practically flying through the house and out the backdoor.
“Shhhh, don’t say another word until I say you can.” Justin demanded as he led her through the snow-blanketed field, that they called a back yard.
“But…”
“I said not another word.” He turned and looked her fiercely in the eyes and she knew not to fight this time.
He continued on his mission until they were a good 50 yards away from the brightly lit house. Destini gasped as she realized where he had taken her, it was the weeping willow tree where they had their first date, a picnic basket dinner under the stars.
Suddenly Justin abruptly stopped walking and turned to look Destini straight in the eyes.
“Now Destini, I know we have our problems, which only seem to surface when we’re away, but I love you more than anyone in this world and I know we’re destined to spend the rest of our lives together. That’s why I brought you here, to remind you of where our lives first merged into one, and to mark another important event.” By this time, Justin had put he arms around her waist and drawn her into his embrace; they were so close the wind didn’t even blow between them.
With saying that, Justin passionately kissed Destini, like he had never kissed her before. Her body went weak and she knew at that moment there would be no more times where she doubted herself or him. As he pulled away, he pulled her down into the freshly fallen snow and covered his body with hers.
“What do you think of my little surprise?” Justin smirked as Destini’s tear filled eyes stared deeply into his.
All Destini could do was nod and return his kiss with so much passion and electricity even the sky couldn’t hold it all.
“I knew you would agree, my little snow angel” Justin whispered as he kissed her softly on the tip of her nose and helped her from the ground, brushed the snow off her chin, and led her back to the house that would soon roar with applause as they entered.
“This really is a great Christmas…” Destini thought to herself as she held tightly onto her soul mate’s hand. A single tear slid down her cheek, froze, and blew away with the wind. No longer a lonely snow angel.
