Chapter 6

A couple hours later I returned to my house, errands all complete.I entered the house and found Brian and AJ asleep sitting up with Dylan sleeping in between the two. I smiled at the sight and went to organize everything and start some of my packing.

The next day I finished up my packing and chatted with Jennifer. The two of us fed Dylan his dinner and she took the liberty of ordering us a pizza.

"Are you sure you wanna do this Sandra?" Jennifer questioned before taking a bite out of her pizza.

"Yeah, I'm sure," I replied.

"Okay just be careful," Jennifer worried.

"I will Jen," I assured.

"You two should go get some sleep since you have a long day tomorrow," Jennifer suggested glancing at the clock.

"Yeah we probably should head to bed," I agreed and scooped Dylan up.

"Night guys," Jennifer said and turned the T.V. on.

Dylan waved sleepily to Jennifer and I headed to his room.I placed him in the crib and covered his tiny body with his blanket.

"Night baby," I whispered and kissed the top of his head.

I turned the light off and headed to my room.Thoughts of Josh drifted through my mind before I fell asleep.

Before I knew it my alarm was summoning me to wake up. I turned the alarm off and slowly sat up in bed. I stretched my body and dragged myself to the shower. After I was done getting ready, I dressed Dylan and fed him and then loaded things into the car.

I drove nervously to the Hartnett complex and found my way rather quickly.I was greeted by his parents when I pulled up into the long driveway in front of their house.

"Ah Sandra you're right on time," Mrs. Hartnett commented.

A couple of guys grabbed my luggage and loaded it into the airport van. We all climbed into the van and headed for the airport. We arrived at the airport shortly after and walked down the terminal towards our loading gate. We boarded the plane and off we went to Hawaii.

"Is the premiere tonight?" I questioned before we landed in Hawaii.

"Yes it is dear," Mrs. Hartnett replied.

"Okay," I simply said and proceeded to exit the plane.

We rettained our luggage and headed towards the hotel we were staying at. Mr. and Mrs. Hartnett were in one room and Dylan and I were in the room next to theirs. I settled into the room and gazed out the window at the Hawaii view.

I realized I only had an hour to get ready and began work on my hair.I piled my long brown hair into a bun leaving a few loose strands to curl.I changed my attire to a dark jean skirt with a slit on the left side and a blue v-halter top. As soon as I finished, I dressed Dylan. He wore jeans with a Backstreet Boys tee made especially for him and a jean jacket to cover.

"Sandra are you ready to go?" Mrs. Hartnett knocked on my door.

"Yep," I replied as I closed the door behind me.

"You looke beautiful dear," She gushed.

"Thanks," I replied and we headed down towards the lobby.

The four of us climbed into a taxi and headed off towards our destination. The closer we were to the premiere, the more my butterflies built up. We soon arrived and as we exited the cab, the naseau washed over me.

Calm down Sandra I told myslef, Everything will be okay.

I spotted the stars of the movie making their way down a long line of press and paparazzi. As soon as Josh was finished with the red carpet he began to walk to his seat. He was dateless.

"Dadda! Dadda! Dadda!" Dylan yelled as he took off.

I started to chase after him and explain to onlookers at the same time.

"Dadda!" Dylan yelled and clinged onto Josh's leg.

"Hey there little guy," Josh greeted.

Dylan looked up at him and waved.

"There you are," I breathed, "Dylan Joshua what have I told you about running away from mommy?"

"Dadda!" Dylan pointed at Josh.

I slowly stood up and was face to face with Josh.
