Josh's life was a whirlwind of press and promoting over the past few days since he was constantly on the go with the release of Pearl Harbor coming up.It was nice for him to hear a familiar voice from home.
"Hi mom," Josh greeted as soon as his mother answered the phone.
"Josh, sweetie, how are you?" She questioned.
"A little worn out but I'm hanging in there," Josh informed.
She filled him in on everything that has been happening in the lives of his siblings and he did the same for her.
"Josh honey, are you dating anyone?" She inquired.
"No, why?" Josh replied.
"I was just wondering," She said, "Mother's always wonder."
"Okay mom I gotta go do some more publicity," Josh informed, "I'll see you at the premiere."
"Bye honey," She replied and hung the phone up.

I put a sleeping Dylan in his crib and came back to join Brian, Nick, and Jennifer.
"So Josh Hartnett's his father?" Nick broke the silence.
"Yes he is," I confirmed.
"I know him," Nick continued, "I've partied with him."
"I thought you didn't party?" Brian questioned.
"I made an exception," Nick shot back.
"That's impressive Nick," I said sarcastically, "Really it is."
Jennifer and Brian laughed and Nick pretended he didn't hear me.
"Hey guys I think I'm gonna go to Hawaii in a few days," I changed subjects.
"What makes you wanna do that?" Brian questioned.
"Well, I ran into Josh's mom the other day and she invited me to go down to Hawaii to the Pearl Harbor premiere," I explained, "So I think I'm gonna go."
"You really wanna go down there?" Jennifer questioned.
"Yeah I think Josh deserves to know about Dylan," I informed, "Since he did have a part in bringing him into the world."
"Are you still in love with him?" Jennifer questioned knowing her friend all to well.
"I don't know," I replied, "I don't know how I feel about him."
"Oh," Jennifer replied knowing the truth.
Over the next day or two I gave some serious thought about going to Hawaii with the Hartnett family. I finally had reached a decision and dialed Mrs. Hartnett.
"Mrs. Hartnett? Hi this is Sandra," I stated after she answered.
"Oh hi sweetie," She greeted, "So have you reached your decision?"
"Yeah and I'm going to come with," I informed, "I just don't know what to do about Dylan."
"Bring him with of course," Mrs. Hartnett stated.
"Are you sure that would be the right thing to do to Josh?" I questioned.
"Listen sweetie it's his child too and he needs to know about him," She said flatly.
"I know but this is his big night," I brought up.
"Trust me," She replied.
"Okay so when do we leave?" I changed the subject.
"The day after tomorrow and I need you to meet us here at our place at nine a.m." She informed.
"Okay," I replied and jotted down directions to their new place.
We chatted for a little while longer and then said our goodbyes.I layed down on my bed and stared at the ceiling.
Am I doing the right thing?
"Bian! Bian! AJ! AJ!" Dylan yelled at the sight of Brian and AJ.
"Hey guys," I greeted.
"Hey," They replied in unison.
"Can you guys watch him for a few hours while I go run some errands?" I questioned.
"Yeah sure," Brian replied and lifted Dylan up off the floor.
"Oh thank you so much," I replied and kissed Brian and AJ's cheeks.
I grabbed my car keys and made my way towards the door.
"Dadda!" Dylan yelled before I could leave.
I turned around and saw another Pearl Harbor preview on the television screen.I walked over to Dylan who was seated in Brian's arms.
"Yes that's Daddy and we're gonna see him in two days," I replied and kissed Dylan's forehead.
