She married Thomas Francis Servis May 17, 1947 in Millville, NJ, son of Archibald Servis and Margaret Davison. He was born May 24, 1924 in Princeton Mercer Co NJ. Notes for Janice Meryl Satterlee: Janice was born in Millville, NJ. She spent her early years in Caldwell, NJ. During her elementary school years, the family returned to Millville at 1014 N. High St. She attended the Wood School, and the Millville High School on Broad St. where she graduated 1944. Janice was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at 2nd and Pine Streets all her life. She directed the choir in the 1960's and again in the late 1980's. She attended West Minister Choir College in Princeton, NJ Janice lived in Princeton from 1947 until 1955 with her husband Tom. While there she worked for Educational Testing and RCA. When Janice moved to Millville, she started working at the Prudential Insurance Company and retired after 30 years as a Supervisor of the Medical Administration Unit in the Linwood, NJ office. In her retirement years she enjoyed traveling with her husband. They took several cruises. They also took a Scandanavian trip, to England, Norway, Denmark in 1988. Janice also enjoyed doing crafts and was an experienced knitter. She also loved to bake and at Christmas time at least 30 different cookies and breads would be made. Janice also loved to play the piano and was a wonderful singer. Janice was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease in 1997 and was cared for by her husband and the HospiceCare of South Jersey until her death. She entered the hospital on Monday, May 29, 2000 after becoming very ill and died at the hospital on Thursday June 1, 2000 in the A.M. Janice Died from Alzheimer's disease.
