okay, poppy z. brite is a goth/horror writer with a knack for poetic beauty and vampire-ish lore. this is an awesome book, one i'd definately reccommend to anyone who is an anne rice fan, because brite's writing rivals that of her. the story line is interesting and the characters very near believeable...it's been a while since i read it, but i loved it and some of the lines are just beautiful.
