bonjour tristesse

francoise sagan

this book was quick, light reading. i started reading it because my french teacher recommended that i read it this summer (only in french, which i will do sometime soon). i actually did enjoy it. it was, as i said, a light book about this girl and her father and this woman named anne that he gets involved in. the main chartacter, cecile, is a fickle girl, and i find her thoughts amusing. she's so unused to thinking, that she becomes enraged at the fact that anne is making her think and plan, and plot. such a sad ending, but a great book.
