"Micky?"
Micky looked up from the newspaper he'd been reading and saw Jenny standing that. For the first time, she saw him smile at her.
"You don't give up easy, do ya?" he asked with a grin. She smiled back and glanced at the floor. Micky moved some of his things out of the way and motioned for her to take a seat.
"Have a seat," he offered when she didn't move at first. "I don't mean to be mean to you, really," he told her, apologizing.
Jenny sat down, unsure of what to say. "It's okay," she replied. She paused, not certain of how to say what she wanted, and then decided to burst right in. "Mike told me about Maggie," she told him.
"Oh?" She saw the drummer's eyes automatically glance across the bus towards Mike. "What did he tell you?"
"Just that she tried to manipulate you and that you ended up getting hurt," she replied honestly. Micky was silent, not knowing how to respond. He glanced out the window for a moment.
"That's a good way of putting it," he replied after a moment.
"I can understand why you wouldn't trust women," Jenny began.
"I trust them," Micky replied. "I trust them fine. I just don't have luck with them, and I'm getting tired of waiting." He turned around and glanced out the window, effectively ending the conversation. Jenny sighed.

Well, it's been two months so far. Only two left. That's about sixty days. I'm counting every hour. Just think, we're almost through this!!!
Mike and Davy have conspired to set Micky up with a girl named Jenny who works on the crew. She's a nice girl, but I can't help thinking that two months isn't enough time.
Last night the four of us went to a club together, and Davy and Mike decided to invite her along with us. Mike filled me in on what was going on, since I was lost.
Micky seems to like her, but yet he isn't paying attention to her unless she starts it. Miek thinks it might be because he's not over Maggie yet, and Davy thinks that it might be she reminds him of her. They do look similar. I'm just having fun watching it.
I'm sorry I haven't been able to call these last few weeks, but I'll try to call again soon. I hope everyone is doing well. Love you all.
Nicole sighed as she folded the letter. She hated to admit it, but she was worried. Mr. Stevens had been working with Thomas every day. She didn't want to say it aloud, but she found herself becoming more and more attracted to him as time went on.
She wondered absently if Peter ever felt anything for any of the girls around them. She didn't doubt his faithfulness, but he was a man.
She shook her head and put the letter away, deciding not to think about it anymore. It would only increase her worries even more.
Nicole glanced down at her increasing stomach. Five months along now and getting bigger every day. The doctor still wouldn't admit it, but she was almost positive it was more than one baby.
Two more months and it's father (or their father) would be home.
