Then Yui appears with two little Genbu seishi at a young age to protect her. So now the time discrepancy is cleared that Tomo is the one who has been messing the time with his illusions. Then all the Suzaku seishi appears- Hotonori, Nuriko, Mistukake,and Chiriko. Tamahome asks why are the all there. They replied, "Where the miko is, we will be there." Miaka appears just at that instant. So now everyone is there, the good guys and the bad guys. the battle begins. Tamahome somehow falls unconsious because of the drug he drank given by Kaen/Tomo. Miaka cries out his name and Tamahome wakes up with Mitsukake's healing power. Finally, while Yui is gaining her edge and Tenkou temporarily diappears. But here's the bad news: Taiyuikun says that Miaka and Tamahome will have to be part again because Tamahome is still a book character; therefore, Tamahome being in Miaka's world will serve as the link between the book world and the real world. Thus, Tenkou will have the access to get to both world and achieve his ultimate wish-conquering both worlds and be the lord of the universe. Miaka falls silent, and Tamahome gave back Miaka's ring and Miaka walks away to Yui. At this time, Yui has to do what's best for all, so she call upon all four Gods of heaven and seal the the book, returning to the real world with Miaka. Ends Episode 3 and OAV I
At the end of the ending credit songs, Taiyuikun tells Tamahome there is still hope. In order to be with Miaka forever in her world, Tamahome will have to be reborn as a whole new person and has to gather seven memory globes that contain his memory to become the completeTamahome. At Miaka's world, Yui and Miaka are at a cafe, ordering food, and Tamahome(without his face shown, but you know it's him from the ring on his necklace), as the reborn new person, serves their food. Thus provides the preview of what's to come in the OAV II.
