Anyway, in OAV I, Tamahome is still Tamahome in Miaka's world-present day Tokyo, Japan. They go to another miko's grave and Tamahome gets suck into the book world again. Back at Tokyo, news reports that the National Libaray is on fire the night before and the "Four God and Sky and the Earth" gets stolen. Tamahome goes to Hotohori's place in present day clothing and is greeted by Hotohori's grandson-which means 50 years or so has passed(I know you are gonna say, 'huh?!' but just read on). When they go to the Suzaku shrine, Tamahome is rejected by the red chi, meaning-Tamahome is not one of the Suzaku seishi he says he is. As a result, he gets whipped and kicked out into a field.
At this time, Chichri and Tasuki are walking and suddenly Chichri senses Tamahome's chi.
At night, Tamahome is depressed and he walks to Moutain Taikyoku (the beautiful mountain which Suzaku seish gather to seek Taiyuikun, this old, grotesque looking priestess for help)but to him the place is nothing else but stones. He remembers Taiyuikun has said to him, "To those with evil hearts, the moutain will be nothing but stones" At that moment he is greeted by a girl named Kaen, who actually calls him Lord Nakago. Thus ends episode 1 of the OAV I
