The Road to Destiny: Chapter 35 (NC-17)

"I need..."

Jax nodded slowly, watching as Keesha stood from the bed. She went into the dressing area, closing the door behind her.

Jax was right, there were two things that she did know. She loved him, and he loved her. But that didn't make any other part of her life any less confusing. She still didn't know what she was going to do, she didn't know who she was, she still just didn't know...anything....

Keesha walked back into the bedroom. She looked over as Jax continued to stand in front of the window, looking out into the night sky. All day she had been surrounded by people-and all day she had felt completely alone. She remembered how Jax would talk about just that-how much more lonely it was to be with people, and still feel alone. And she never really understood that until today, until she was in a church full of people and still alone. Until she was in the police station surrounded by people, and still felt alone. Until she was sitting talking to her mother...until she was out on the streets of the city, watching the people go by and feeling completely alone. Now she understood what Jax meant. Keesha's mind went to the moment she had to tell Jax she needed to leave, that the wedding couldn't go on. He had walked into the room, and listened to her, and with barely any questions, he had told her to go on, that he would wait for her at home, that he would handle everything. And he told her he loved her. And those three words kept her relatively sane the rest of the insane day. Jax loved her, and she knew he was waiting for her, and she knew she needed to go back home to him.

Keesha realized the moment Jax joined her out on the balcony, she wasn't feeling so lost, or so alone anymore.

And she realized the moment Jax came into the bedroom after she left him outside, that once again, she wasn't feeling alone and lost anymore. And it had always been like that. Ever since the first day she met him. Whenever she heard Jax's voice, whenever she looked up and saw him nearby, whenever...

Jax looked down as Keesha wrapped her arms around him.

Whenever she was with Jax, she wasn't alone. And she wasn't lost. And Keesha realized at that precise moment that she and Jax were wrong. There weren't two things she knew. There were three.

Jax loved her.

Keesha loved him.

And thirdly, that love was all that mattered.

Loving Jax was what Keesha wanted to do. And loving Jax was who she was. And loving Jax was all she knew, and all she needed to know. Everything else would fall into place when it was time.

"I love you." Keesha stated against Jax's back. Jax turned around, and Keesha looked up into his eyes, smiling softly. "Thank you."

"For what?"

"For just...being."

Jax reached up, stroking her cheek with his fingers. He lowered his head, brushing his lips gently across hers. Keesha opened her mouth to his, stepping foward, closing the remaining space between them. "I love you." he mumbled against her mouth.

Keesha pulled away and Jax opened his eyes. "I know." she replied with a smile.

"Promise?"

Keesha nodded. "Promise." She reached up, cupping his face in her hands. She kissed Jax again.

His mouth was soft and invitingly sweet, and all of her worries were swept away by his slow, tender kisses. Keesha hardly noticed as Jax slid the straps of her gown down off her shoulders. He bent, kissing her bare shoulders as his fingers trailed lightly up her back.

Her body shivered from his touch, and Keesha found his lips again, kissing them so deeply she left Jax breathless. He pulled away with a deep moan. Jax looked down as Keesha brought her hands to his shirt. She looked up, staring into the sparkle of his eyes as she slowly undid each button. She removed the material from his body, trailing her fingers down his muscular arms.

With one tug, Jax removed her gown completely, and his eyes darkened with passion as Keesha stood completely nude in front of him. He knelt down on the ground, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her towards him, burying his face against the flatness of her stomach. He tightened his grip around her, placing small butterfly kisses around her navel. Her lips parted with a sigh, her eyes closing as she ran her fingers through his hair. He trailed his tongue up the middle of her body, hearing her exhale slowly, the breath quivering. His eyes opened and he looked up at her, standing straight once more. With a gentle kiss he lifted her, carrying her over to the bed. He stopped her at the edge, her body gliding down across his as he rested her on the floor. His body tightened in desire and he kissed her fiercely.

Keesha teased his tongue with hers, using her mouth to suck against it, before pulling away. She dragged her tongue across his lips, past his cheek, taking his earlobe into her mouth. She nibbled on it gently and then sucked hard on the sensitive area on his neck, right below. Jax tilted his head back with a groan.

Keesha kissed his lips once more, wrapping her arms around Jax. He opened his eyes as she pulled back once more, removing her fingers from his back and trailing them slowly over to his chest. She traced his body with her fingertips, and her gentle touch sent a wave of desire through his entire body; his breath caught in his throat and she looked into his eyes. She stared at him, full of want, and need, and love-her mouth felt dry and she ran her tongue across her lips, the unconciousness of the motion making it even more seductive. She broke eye contact and bent, flicking her tongue across his nipple. She tasted his skin, and he breathed her name, lacing his fingers into the softness of her hair. She knelt down in front of him, sucking so hard against his navel that he called her name again, this time with a groan. She continued kissing his stomach, her hands removing his belt and unfastening his slacks. She removed the rest of his clothes. Jax opened his eyes as all of a sudden, everything was still. He looked at Keesha and found her staring at him as he stood naked in front of her, taking in every detail. She looked up into his eyes again, hers shining with pure love and adoration and he felt his heart soar.

Jax bent down and with one swift move, lifted Keesha from the ground, leaning himself back into the bed, and resting her on top of him. She pushed herself up from his body and he moved back into the middle of the bed, sitting up.

Keesha lowered herself onto her knees and his breath stopped as she began crawling the rest of the way over to him. Still on her hands and knees, she closed the space between them and then kissed Jax slowly. Soon their kiss grew passionate and he reclined. Without breaking off the kiss, he reached for her, but instead she settled across from him.

"What?" Jax asked as he tilted his head to look at her.

In answer Keesha carressed his face gently. "I love you..." she shook her head with a sigh. "I wish I could say more...Why doesn't I love you seem like enough?"

"I love you is always enough. You never have to say anything more." Jax responded as he took her hand from his face, bringing it to his mouth. He kissed each finger softly, adding as her eyes opened again and Keesha was looking at him once more. "Besides, I know how you feel, because I feel it as well. I always have."

Keesha led Jax over to her. He covered her body with his, drowing in the taste of her mouth once more. He ran his fingers teasingly up the inside of her leg and when she moaned, he broke off the kiss, sucking against the front of her throat as he dragged his body over across hers. Again Keesha groaned, her body arching slightly to the exquisite tightening at her very core. "Jax...please..." she begged him breathlessly.

"Soon." Jax promised with small kisses across her chest. He ran his tongue first over one nipple and then another, before taking that breast in his mouth and sucking on it. She called him again, this time moaning his name so deeply, his own body tightened in response. She inhaled sharply, doing her best to maintain some sort of control over her own body, yet knowing that with Jax, that effort was fruitless. Her body belonged to him...he teased the sides of her breasts with his mouth and she arched, gasping...every part of her belonged to him.

Jax looked at Keesha and drew himself up her body again, bending over and outlining her lips with his tongue. Her mouth parted and he cupped her face in his hands, sliding his tongue into her mouth; they kissed deeply. She pulled away for a breath, and with a mumble "No." he led her lips back to his, kissing them so hungrily, she knew that every part of him, belonged to her.

Jax grabbed onto her waist, lifted her ever so carefully and then entered her with a quick thrust.

Keesha froze, calling out his name, as Jax buryied his face in her throat. Finding her breath, she arched, pulling him in deeper as he moaned softly. He began moving inside of her, his moans growing louder as she ran her fingers through his hair. She began moving with him and soon her moans drowned out his. His breaths were coming sharp and fast, but all of a sudden they stopped as with one last moan Jax released. Keesha arched once more, and she accepted his climax eagerly before giving into her own.

"Yes Carl, as soon as possible..." Jax looked over at his ringing doorbell. "I need to go...no feel free to call whatever time." he hung up the phone, walking over to the door.

"Breakfast is served." Jerry stated, walking into the condominium. He handed Jax a paper bag. "Is she here?"

"Yes, she's in the bedroom. What are you doing here."

"Checking up on you."

"I'm fine." Jax looked inside the bag. "Hey! You ate my cinnamon roll."

"I also paid for the entire thing you brat." Jerry sat down. "So...how was she caught?"

"Tiffany? I don't know. But I'm going to find out."

"Maybe you don't want to do that."

"Of course I want to do that. Why wouldn't I?"

"Because sometimes it's better to let sleeping dogs lie."

Jax looked at Jerry strangely. "You think John was involved, don't you?" And when Jerry didn't respond, Jax had the answer that he needed.

Keesha finished dressing, and came out of the bedroom. "I thought I heard Jerry."

"You did, he just left. How are you this morning?"

"Better. Thank you." She walked over to Jax, kissing him sweetly. She pulled away. "One more." she smiled, giving his lips one last peck.

"Jax?"

"Yes, luv?"

"I was thinking..."

"Oh oh."

"Quiet." she hit his arm. "You won't hesitate to tell me no, right?" "I don't know...I have a problem saying no to you." he winked.

"I'm trying to be serious here..."

"So am I."

"Okay...so then look at me..." because no matter what his answer was, she would know what he really wanted to say by his eyes.

Jax stared at Keesha waiting.

"Let's go get married...today."

Jax blinked in shock. "Are you sure?"

And a wide smile grew across her face at the light in his eyes. "You like that idea..." she sung happily. "So yes I am completely sure!"

"Okay then..." he picked her up, swinging her around the room, laughing as she giggled. "Let's go get married today!"
