The Road to Destiny: Chapter 23
Keesha looked at Jax for a second. She went over to her bag, placing a
few more items in and zipping it once more. "Ready." She waited.
"Didn't you hear me? I want you to come and stay with me..."
"Of course I heard you."
"The least you can do is tell me no."
"If I tell you no then you'll ask why and I don't feel like going
through that now. I just want to go and be with you."
"We're going to talk about this later..." Jax warned, standing from the
bed.
"...yes Dad....okay...at 6:00....got it..."
Keesha turned away from Jax's bedroom window as he wrapped up his phone
call to his parents. She walked over and joined him as he sat on the edge
of the bed. She stretched out, resting her head on his lap.
"...yeah..." Jax ran his fingers through her hair and Keesha closed her
eyes. "Bye." He pressed the button disconnecting the phone and tossed it
on the floor.
"You should be more careful with your things." She smiled.
"I'm careful with the things that matters the most...like you." he looked
down at her.
Keesha's eyes shot open. "I'm not a thing..."
"Gotcha." he grinned.
"You're skating on thin ice." she said even as she brushed his leg with
her fingers. "Did I tell you I loved you today?" she whispered as she
took his wrist, placing a small kiss on the sensitive area on the inside,
right below his palm. She ran her fingers gently up the length of his arm
as she sat up, kissing his throat lightly.
"Feel free to tell me again," he breathed.
"I love you, Jax." She kissed his lips softly.
"And I love you, Keesha." he reached up and traced the outline of her
face. He kissed her again.
"I love you more..." Keesha sung, giggling against his mouth. She laid
down in the bed and Jax rested on top of her. He nuzzeled the side of her
neck, sucking gently against the skin.
Jax dragged his tongue slowly upwards, stroking behind her ear. "I love
you most," he mumbled.
Keesha tilted her head at him, smiling. "You always know exactly what to
say."
Jax stared at her for a moment. "Then stay here with me."
"Jax..."
Keesha closed her eyes as Jax kissed her tenderly. "Stay with me," he
repeated, kissing her passionately as he drew her slip from her body.
"I can't think when you do that..." she returned his kiss hungrily,
pulling his boxers off. She pulled away from him again, staring into his
eyes.
"Stay...with...me," he repeated, slowly. He rested fully on top of her
once more.
"I want to..." she admitted, watching as he drew himself a little further
down her body.
Jax began to enter Keesha carefully and she arched with a groan, savoring
the feel of the slow penetration. Her eyes opened and she reached for his
hands, interlacing their fingers.
"Jax..." Keesha breathed, arching again as he ran his tongue slowly up the
middle of her chest. She let go of his hands...his tongue trailed over
her chin...she wrapped her arms around him, holding him tightly to
her...he touched the edge of her mouth with his tongue, his eyes opening
to the feel of her warm breath against his lips.
Jax traced the outline of her mouth with his thumb and her eyes opened.
Keesha looked at him for a moment, maintaing eye contact as she sucked on
the appendage suggestively. He groaned her name and she leaned up a
little, covering his throat in kisses.
"Stay..." Jax moaned, leading her back down fully into the bed. They
began moving together. All he wanted was for her to stay...
Keesha gasped, letting Jax go and grabbing the edge of the sheets.
"Hold me." Jax begged and instantly her arms wrapped around him once more,
her body growing unbearbly taut as he thrust quickly within her.
Keesha could feel his heartbeat racing against her chest as his breathing
became more and more erratic.
"Closer." Jax moaned and Keesha managed to hold him even tighter, her
mouth kissing his. Soon they both released.
Jax rolled over, gathering Keesha to him, and she rested her head against
his shoulder. He ran his fingers gently down her back.
"Why?"
"What?" Jax opened his eyes to her whisper.
"Why is it so important to you that I stay here?"
"Aren't you happy here?"
"Yes."
"Then there is your answer." He closed his eyes again. They laid
together in silence for a long while.
"I miss you when you're gone," he added.
"Since when have I been gone," she teased with a smile. "How would you
know?"
"Ever since I met you, I missed you when we weren't together. That's how
I know."
Keesha's smile faded and she looked up at Jax, wondering how such simple
thoughts could make her heart soar. "Okay."
Jax opened his eyes, the sparkle from them illuminating the love he had
for her in his face. "Okay?"
"Okay," she grinned, kissing him sweetly.
