Chapter 86: NC-17
Jax stirred, slowly opening his eyes. A smile played around his lips as
he noticed Keesha, sleeping peacefully, cuddled up next to him. His mind
went, as it often did, to the very first night they made love...he
remembered the sheer joy he felt when she came to his door, just "needing
to see" him. He remembered the way her hand trembled as he looked into
her eyes, and she admitted her nervousness to him. He remembered how, for
one of the few times in his life, he couldn't think of anything to say,
how his mind seemed cloudy, yet clear, all at the same time. And he
remembered holding her close as she slept, just like now, and it hit him
that he had fallen in love with her. From that moment on he had realized
that she had changed his life completely.
Jax watched as Keesha opened her eyes. "Morning." she whispered. "Is it
morning?" she turned to look, seeing it was still dark out.
"Yes...it's rather early morning however. How is Elizabeth?"
"Do you care?" Keesha grinned, looking at him again.
"Not really." Jax laughed.
"Thought so." Keesha kissed Jax sweetly. "I'm starving." she hopped up
from the bed.
"At...4:30 in the morning?" Jax also stood, leaving the bed.
"I'm always hungry when I first get up...you know that. It doesn't matter
what time...." Keesha pulled on her robe left the room, jogging down the
stairs.
Jax closed the door to the nursery, his heart sinking slightly as he
realized Deidre was due back today, and Laurence would leave. But it was
only temporary, he reminded himself. He walked downstairs. "Ice cream?
Healthy."
"Whatever." Keesha smiled, tilting her head back to look as Jax stood
behind the couch. "I suppose that means you don't want any."
"I never said that..."
Keesha dipped the spoon in the bowl, pulling some out. "Here."
Jax knelt on the floor, leaning over the back of the couch and opening his
mouth. Keesha placed the spoon inside, feeding him the desert.
"Good?" she asked as she took the spoon, immediately placing it in her
mouth before licking the underside suggestively.
"You're bad." Jax grinned.
"So you've said..." Keesha knelt on the couch, bending over towards Jax.
She smiled as she fed him another bite, a devilish gleam in her eyes. She
drew the spoon from his mouth, giggling before kissing him tenderly. "If
I'm bad, it's all your fault." she pulled away. "I can't resist a man who
tastes like cookie dough ice cream..." she laughed.
Jax joined Keesha in laughter. "Come here..."
"What's in it for me?..." her laughter grew as Jax pulled her over the
couch. "Oh...." she teased. "I get it..."
"You haven't gotten anything yet...." Jax whispered, kissing Keesha
softly as she reclined on top of him.
They continued kissing as Keesha slowly opened his robe. She covered each
new exposed space with her mouth, teasing him and Jax groaned deeply,
wrapping his arms tightly around her. He reached up, drawing her robe
down her shoulders.
Keesha trailed her tongue up his body, nuzzling against his throat as her
hands continued to stroke his body. Jax felt like his body would explode
and he breathed her name, the sound quivering slightly.
Again Keesha kissed her way down his body, pausing to nibble and suck
where his groans directed her. All of a sudden she stood., removing her
robe completely. "Don't move..." she ordered in a singing tone, and Jax
watched as she disappered.
"What do you have behind your back?" he asked with a smile.
Keesha shrugged and came closer. She knelt down in front of him, resting
in front of his feet. Jax closed his eyes and waited. Suddenly he gasped
as he felt something cold being sprayed on his feet. He opened his eyes.
"Whipped cream..."
"You can't have ice cream, without whipped cream..." she mumbled before as
she looked at him, her eyes sparkling while she sucked the extra cream
from her fingers. Keesha bent, licking some of the desert off him before
sucking his toes. Jax groaned, his eyes closing. She sprayed cream up
the inside of his leg before devouring the cream from there as well, all
the way up to his inner thighs. He called her name, reaching down, and
guiding her to face him again.
Jax kissed Keesha hungrily, leaning up in protest when she broke off the
kiss once more. She shook the can with a small laugh and he knew
instinctively what to do. His lips parted and she sprayed the dessert
inside following it with a deep kiss.
Down his body Keesha trailed the cream, followed by her mouth and Jax
arched beneath her as his desire continued to grow.
Suddenly Keesha stopped and Jax opened his eyes to look at her. He
watched as she slowly shook the can. He tried to grab for something in
preperation, but found nothing...she sprayed the cream one last time,
slowly, covering the length of his hardness and his hips arched.
Keesha rested her hands against his waist, her kisses moving lower until
finally she took him in her mouth. She continued tasting Jax long after
the cream was gone, tightening her grip against his waist and dragging her
tongue slowly up the length of him. Jax arched again, moaning repeatedly
and his fingers wrapped themselves into her hair. Again her mouth
enveloped him, tasting him fully, threatening to bring him past the
returning point.
Keesha pulled herself up, straddling over him and lowering herself. She
groaned deeply, sighing as Jax wrapped his arms around her, pulling her
even further, until he completely filled her. She moaned his name,
pushing her hair back as their pace exploded.
"Keesha..." Jax breathed as they released together. Keesha collapsed on
top of Jax, her heart racing as she tried to control her erratic breathing.
Jax loosened his grip on her hips, his hands sliding slowly up her back
and resting. "Keesha..." Jax called as he tilted his head to look at her.
Keesha shifted, opening her eyes; Jax smiled as they sparkled into his.
"I love you." they said in unison. They kissed sweetly.
Keesha came downstairs, fresh from her shower. She carried Laurence over
to Jax. "Who are you calling?"
"Jerry."
"Oh...I'm sorry, I saw Jerry yesterday. He said not to worry...but..."
"Yes, but." Jax continued to dial. That just made Jax worry even more.
"What?" Jerry answered.
"Hi...can we talk?"
"Go ahead."
"Can I *see* you."
"Nope. And make it snappy."
"Jerry..." Jax took the phone into his office. "I'm sorry."
"Why?"
Jax sighed. "What did you mean that it all makes sense?"
"Why they love you more than me."
"They don't love you more than me....what was that slamming?...hello?"
Keesha stood from the sofa as Jax stormed out of the office.
"What?"
"Jerry is at the jail."
"Jail? Why?"
"Visiting Miranda is my guess. Can you..."
"Yes, of course. I'll watch Laurence." Keesha watched as Jax ran out of
the house.
"...there he is..." Jane cooed as she stood from her couch at the Port
Charles Hotel. She reached for Laurence. "My little grandson...Jax,
he's beautiful."
"Yes he is." Jax agreed, brushing Laurence's hair back with his fingers.
"He has..." John began
"My eyes. I've heard." Jax couldn't help but smile. "Where's Jerry?
He's *never* late for dinner..."
"He called first thing this morning. Bobbie's not feeling well, so he's
taking care of her."
"Bobbie's sick?"
"Just the flu." John took Laurence from Jane. "She works in a hospital.
She's bound to get sick every now and again."
"Where's Keesha?" Jane asked cautiously.
"She went to pick up a student of hers from New York. She called crying
this afternoon."
"Crying? Poor thing."
Jax shrugged. He liked Elizabeth enough, but all he knew was that she
killed any chances of V getting back together with Taggert and V was still
miserable about it. The fact that Liz was crying now didn't really phase
Jax.
"Well, that's good...you need some time alone with your boy." John lifted
Laurence up in the air.
"I will have plenty of time with my boy." Jax stood, taking Laurence from
John. "All of my life. And don't start."
"Start what?"
"John..." Jane warned.
Jerry thanked the waiter and started to leave with the soup. He glanced
at the elevator and walked over, deciding to pay everyone a quick visit.
"I merely gave my opinion."
"Of which I didn't ask for."
"Have you even thought about it at all?"
"John..."
"I don't need to think about it!" Jax took a deep breath. "If we *have*
to have this pointless conversation again, it will wait for a time when I
don't have my son with me."
"But Jax...don't you get it, you can have your son with you all the time."
Jax groaned. "This was a bad idea. At least if Keesha had come you would
be on your best behavior..."
"You and this little boy and his mother need to be together...you will get
used to things. What do you think would have happened..."
Jane turned, looking as the door began to open.
"...to Jerry if I didn't marry your mother when she was pregnant..."
"JOHN!"
John turned quickly to look at Jane. "What...Jerry...."
Jerry stood in the doorway.
"Jerry...." Jax, John and Jane said in unison.
"This explains so much....you *knew*?!" he added angrily at Jax.
"He just found out yesterday." John answered quietly.
Jerry nodded. And without another word, he left.
Jax stared at his father. "Aren't you going to go after him?!"
"He needs time alone right now....Jax...."
Jax handed Laurence to Jane, bolting out of the door after his brother.
Jane and John stood from the sofa. "I can't find him." Jax stated quickly
as he walked back into the hotel room.
"I know my son, Jax. He needs time alone. I'll talk to him..."
"When?"
"I don't know. But you have your own son to worry about. Don't worry
about Jerry. He's a grown man." John gave Jax Laurence. "Why don't you
go on home. We'll call you if we speak to him."
Jane nodded. "Jerry will be fine." she said, primarily to make herself
feel better. "Go home."
Jax walked into the house quietly, careful not to awaken Laurence who was
sleeping against his shoulder. He walked over to the answering machine.
"Hey...we're having dinner, and then we're coming back. I probably won't
be back until very late...but don't worry, I will be quiet so as not to
wake you or Laurence. I love you."
Jax sighed deeply. He needed Keesha there, and she was in NY, and
probably wouldn't be home until late. He debated calling her, and asking
her to come now, but changed his mind and headed up the stairs.
Elizabeth and Keesha looked at Jerry, sitting by himself in a corner table
outside of Kelly's. "Do you want anything? The kitchen's closed but..."
Elizabeth asked.
"No." Jerry answered without looking at her.
Keesha nodded and Elizabeth thanked her, going into Kelly's and locking
the door. "What's wrong?" Keesha inquired softly.
"Don't let John bulldoze you into leaving Jax."
"I'm not going to leave Jax." she promised as she sat across from him.
"Jerry...what's wrong?"
Jerry finally looked at her, wondering if she knew. "Sometimes you think
you know something...but in the back of your mind you realize what you
thought you knew was a lie. But when it all comes out in the open, and
what you realized was a lie was blown wide open...you feel lost. Even
though you probably should have been prepared for it. Has that ever
happened to you?"
Keesha blinked in thought. "Yes. I think it's happened to everybody..."
"Of course. I'll get past this, just like everyone else did. So don't
worry about me, and go on home..."
"Does Jax know where you are?"
"Why? Is he looking for me?"
"Well, something is wrong. So I'm sure that Jax has to be worried about
you..."
"He'll get over it. You can tell him I've gone to Bobbie's if that will
make you feel better." Jerry stood and left.
Keesha tiptoed up the stairs, and was headed down the hall when she heard
sounds. She paused for a second and then went into the room.
Jax turned over in the bed with a tired groan as the baby monitor picked
up movement in Laurence's room. He put on his robe and headed into the
nursery.
"...oh, see you're wet..." Keesha sung softly. "...no wonder you're
fussy." she went over to the changing table, laying Laurence gently down.
"So...you met Grandpa and Grandma today huh? Did you have fun?"
Jax smiled as Laurence gurgled.
"You did?" Keesha grinned.
Jax left the room quietly, going back to bed.
Keesha stood from the rocking chair carefully, going over to the crib and
putting a sleeping Laurence inside. She bent and kissed his cheek,
turning on the mobile before leaving the room. She walked into the
bedroom, changing her clothes and climbing in behind Jax. She wrapped her
arms around him, draping her leg over his. Jax sighed, turning around in
his sleep and gathering Keesha closer to him. "I love you." she whispered
before closing her eyes. She soon joined him in sleep.
