Chapter 17 (NC-17)

"Damn who?"
"Miranda." Jax mumbled. "I have to take care of something...I'll see
you at home..."
"I can go, or should I not?"
He looked over at Keesha. "I'm going to Luke's. I may run into Sonny."
"Even more of a reason I can go."
Jax nodded. "You should...you have a calming effect on me, and with
Miranda and Sonny there, I need it."
"You say the sweetest things." she laughed and watched as Jax called up
front to change their destination to Luke's.
Miranda sat at her table, watching as Bobbie watched her. She wondered
how much Jerry told her.
She couldn't beleive she wasted so much time being in love with the
wrong Jacks brother. If she had to do it all over again...She took a
sip of her drink. The door opened and she turned. "Speak of the
devil." she said to herself.
Jax glanced at her and then he and Keesha headed over to Bobbie.
"Where's Luke?"
"With Lucky." Bobbie stopped staring at Miranda and turned her
attention to Jax and Keesha. "I'm sitting here minding my own business
when...she comes up, asking me how my quote *goregous sweet wonderful
boyfriend is*."
"Don't let her bother you. Where is Jerry?"
"I don't know. Jerry, Felicia and Mac speak really highly of her, but
Jax, alarms are going off in my head...I don't like her already."
"That makes two of us. But, unfortunately Jerry doesn't see it that
way."
"What are you doing?" Keesha watched as Jax stared out the window of
the limosine. They had dropped Bobbie off, and now were on their way
home.
"Thinking about what I should do next."
"Maybe you shouldn't do anything."
Jax looked over at Keesha. "You don't know Miranda."
"True, but maybe what you know isn't all there is. Maybe Jerry knows
things about her that you don't."
"My instincts have never proved me wrong Keesha."
"Then maybe Jerry needs to figure that out himself. I'm sure you've
told Jerry what you thought...perhaps you should just let it go at
that. If everything you said about her is true, then she wouldn't
think twice about trying to drive a wedge between the two of you."
Jax sighed deeply.
"And what if she really doesn't plan to cause trouble. Even if she
doesn't drive a wedge, you will if you don't let her alone."
"Why did she come a month early?"
"Find out then...I'm not saying you should just let her run around town
and do whatever she wants. I'm saying that maybe now isn't the time to
start something against her."
Was Keesha still up...
Jax tried again. Focus. Alexis, Sonny, someone else, or was it just a
whim? Why was Miranda here now? What did she want with Jerry, and what
was she planning to do against him...if anything.
Miranda could do anything she wanted really. But there were two things
that he wouldn't stand for. Her hurting Jerry or her somehow taking
Keesha away from him. Just the thought of his life without Keesha in
it....
He meant a lot to her she said...and he couldn't even begin to describe
what she meant to him. But he would fight like hell...whoever he had
to, to keep her around...near.
Jax looked at the clock, it was almost 2:00 in the morning. He needed
to be asleep. He got up from the desk in the bedroom and turned on the
small radio next to his bed. He walked in his bathroom, changed, and
then sat down on the bed. He had quite a day. Things seemed to be
going forward in the plan against Sonny, the background check into his
family had stopped, and he expected to hear from Alexis relatively
soon, then again if she brought Miranda back to town it could take
longer....but it wasn't something he couldn't handle. They couldn't
handle...him and Keesha, he thought with a smile as he climbed into the
bed. He had made such strides with Keesha...or actually Keesha had
made such enormous strides dealing with her feelings for him.
Of course then he got the news about Miranda being in town...
Jax closed his eyes. Yet as disruptive as that news had been, right
now all he could think of was Keesha.
"Jax?"
Jax opened his eyes. He climbed out of bed and over to the door. He
opened it and saw Keesha sitting on the floor, leaning up against the
wall across from the room.
"Were you asleep?"
"No."
"I heard music coming from your room, and I figured you may still be
up."
"Music...oh yeah. I didn't even notice it was on....Keesha?"
"Yes."
"Why are you sitting on the floor."
"I don't know." she smiled. "I think I was planning to try knocking
again, but I figured that if you were asleep, I might need a good
reason for waking you." she stood. "I didn't come up with one....so
good thing you weren't sleeping."
"Well, what was your reason for wanting to see me."
"I needed to see you."
"Okay...you're not answering me." Jax watched as she came closer.
"What did you come to see me about."
"Nothing. I just needed to see you." Keesha reached up and kissed Jax
passionately. "I suppose I have a reason somewhere..." she mumbled
against his lips. "Then again, maybe I just needed" she kissed him
again. "To see you." she kissed him once more.
Jax returned her kiss as he stepped back into bedroom. Keesha
followed, closing the door behind them. She pulled back and looked
into his eyes.
"That would have been the perfect reason to wake me." Jax looked down
as Keesha ran her fingers down his bare chest. His stomach tightened
and she wrapped her arms around his waist, pulling herself closer, so
their bodies touched. Jax bent slightly, securing his arms around her
and lifting her. Keesha's hands travelled up his back as he did so,
leaving his waist free for her legs to wrap around. She brushed her
lips across his, and then ever so slowly moved her tongue down...past
the cleft of his chin to his neck. "Keesha..." he breathed before
leaning back into the bed.
Keesha paused...all Jax did was say her name, yet she swore she had
never heard it called like that...and it felt as if she had been
waiting for it all of her life. She rested on top of him and sucked on
the front of his throat gently as he ran his fingers through her hair,
letting out a deep moan.
Jax led her face back to his and kissed her hungrily. Keesha felt him
continue to harden beneath her, and her body shivered in response. He
tore away from her and stared into her eyes. They were sparkling
passionately as she returned his stare, and he decided then and there
nothing could be beautiful as her at that moment.
She leaned up, straddleling against his stomach. Jax reminded himself
to breathe as Keesha slowly opened her top, easing it over her
shoulders and then letting it fall into a heap around her waist. She
reached behind her and unclapsed her bra, removing it and tossing it
aside. She waited, her anxiousness growing as his eyes swept the
length of her. He took her hand and looked into her eyes again.
"You're shaking."
"Sorry."
Jax leaned up, leading her to wrap her legs around him. He waited for
her to continue.
"I'm nervous."
Jax kissed her softly. He pulled away, kissing his way down her neck,
to her body. He took a breast into his mouth, sucking on it before
tracing a path around the curve with his tongue. Keesha tightened her
grip on his hair and groaned.
"Me too." he answered as he led her down on the bed, reclining on top
of her.
"You don't have to say that." Keesha realized that Jax was a lot more
experienced then she was. She had been with two men her entire life,
and the last one was two years ago.
Jax looked up at her. "I have never said anything to you that I
haven't meant. Being with you is...different than being with...anyone"
Not sure his point had gotten across, because he wasn't sure he
understood what he was trying to say, his eyes begged her to
understand.
Jax's wheels stopped turning as Keesha took his hand in hers, lacing
their fingers. He bent over and they kissed again slowly. While they
kissed, he let go of her hand, his fingers trailing lightly down her
sides.
"Jax..." she breathed his name before kissing him again. He forced
himself to get off of her. She moaned in protestation and opened her
eyes.
Keesha watched as Jax stood at the edge of the bed, removing his
boxers. She looked at him, and inhaled sharply, almost gasping as he
stood completely nude in front of her. She tried to form words, but as
usual around Jax she couldn't...so as she stared into his eyes once
more, she finished undressing.
Keesha took a breath and sat up, reaching her hand out to Jax. He came
back into the bed, taking her hand. Together they closed the space
between them, and kissed passionately.
Keesha laid down in the bed, sinking in further as Jax rested on top of
her. The butterflies in her stomach multiplied and exploded, she had
never been so scared, and so at peace in her entire life. Because she
knew there was nowhere she'd rather be...nowhere she should be. She
belonged here. With Jax. She reached up and stroked his face lightly.
Jax pulled his lips away from hers. He positioned himself a little
lower and then kissed her once more softly. He ran his fingers down
her legs, and she wrapped herself around him. He began entering her
slowly...reminding himself that it had probably been awhile since she
had been with anyone. She continued kissing his lips, teasing his
mouth with her own. She ran her nails down his spine and he lost all
of his control.
Jax thrust himself into her quickly and then he froze. She tore her
mouth away from him with a groan as her nails dug into his back. He
could hear her as she tried to catch a breath...tried to get used to
the feeling of him completely inside of her.
"Don't stop..." Keesha breathed and he began moving inside of her. He
buryied his face against the side of her neck, moaning as she matched
his slow thrusts with her own.
Jax grabbed on to the edge of the sheets as he felt himself getting
closer. He felt her tighten around him as her own release neared and
they quickened the pace. Soon Keesha climaxed, calling his name. She
wrapped her arms even tighter around him and he gave into his own
release.
Jax shifted a little, resting his head on her shoulder. He finally
found words for what he was trying to get across to her earlier. "It's
been a long time since I've been with anyone who meant something to me."
Keesha tilted her head and looked at him. She smiled softly and pushed
his hair back from his eyes. "Me too."
"No fair...you've only been with what...3 people your entire life." he
teased.
"Yes...but they were all very important people."
"I'm important now?" he grinned.
"You were important to me long before tonight. That's what makes
tonight so special." she leaned down in the bed and he wrapped his arms
around her, watching her as she fell asleep.
And it hit him. Keesha meant more than *something*. She meant
everything.
It had completely snuck up on him.
He was in love with her.
