Chapter 101 (NC-17)

Keesha rolled her eyes in frustration as her telephone rang, interrupting her moment with Jax. Realizing it could be Stefan she reached over, picking it up. "Hello...oh, hi Stefan..."

This time Jax rolled his eyes.

"No..." Keesha walked over to the door. Holding the phone at arms length she opened and closed the door. "Not anymore...no, Jax just left."

Jax shook his head. Keesha had become way too good at this.

"When...tomorrow? Um...well...sure, I can do that...I'll think of something...bye." Keesha hung up. "Stefan is coming. He'll be here tomorrow."

"Why?"

"He wants to see me."

Keesha watched as Jax's eyes clouded over and she waited.

"When?"

"2:30. Downstairs in the restaurant. Alone."

"Of course."

"Jax..."

"I didn't say you shouldn't go. But if I come up with something better..." Jax pounded against his pillow, pretending to try and soften it, though Keesha could see he was trying to keep his frustration in check. "Nite." he mumbled and laid down in the bed once more, closing his eyes.

Keesha sighed. "Night," she whispered before climbing in behind him.

It was so obvious Stefan was using Keesha. Even she came to realize it. But there was something more...Jax could not place his finger on it...but Stefan's interest in Keesha had to do with more than simply using her against Spencer.

But despite that, Keesha was enjoying herself.

And that was what worried Jax the most.

She seemed to enjoy sneaking and hiding and going up against people...and whatever else Stefan had her do before Jax got involved.

There was a sparkle in Keesha's eyes that Jax was finding harder and harder to ignore...something that only seemed to come when they were planning something, or scheming.

But that was not the kind of life Jax was going to provide for Keesha...definitely not now that they had two children. And though Jax knew Keesha loved him and their kids...that sparkle was something that just would not go away.

Jax understood that pull, it was a pull that sometimes drove him to make bigger gambles than he might normally when he worked. It was a pull that Jerry had trouble fighting day in and day out.

It was a pull that maybe in another time, Jax would have joined Keesha in willingly.

But not anymore. Yet, for Keesha, since everything was so new...that temptation would keep pulling her.

And that dangerous temptation was just across the water, on Spoon Island at Windemere. And it was too close for at home. How could Keesha be asked to deny it again and again. When Jax knew that Stefan would always be asking.

Jax looked down as Keesha wrapped her arm around him, her hand brushing against his. He laced their fingers, holding her hand tightly.

Jax could not lose Keesha, not to death, not to her getting caught in the crossfire between the Spencer/Cassdine fued from hell.

But Jax was starting to realize there was something more.

That pull Stefan provided...that pull to excitement and a world she had never known...the more he pulled, he pulled, the harder it would be for Keesha to sit still and just live a normal life.

And though Stefan may try and take Keesha away, Jax knew Keesha would not go.

But she would not be the same, the more she had a taste of this life and all of it's excitment the less content she may become with her life the way it would be without Stefan...without the fued...

And that would never do either.

Jax wanted Keesha there in everyway. Physically and emotiomally. He needed her alive...but he also needed her happy.

And he needed her alive and happy with him.

"She's on the balcony." Nikolas said into the telephone. He adjusted his binoculours. "She doesn't seem to be doing anything....okay..." Nikolas rolled his eyes as Stefan repeated his instructions. The nagging feeling continued to grow-his father's interest in Keesha and her whereabouts was beginning to grow dangerous. And no matter what Stefan told Nikolas, about using her to get what he needed from Luke and Jason-and even Jax...Nikolas recognized the signs.

"I will be there within the hour." Stefan informed Nikolas.

"I will be waiting." Nikolas answered. He hung up the phone and went back to looking at Keesha.

Jax had better keep a tight hold on Keesha, or he would soon find himself without her. There was no doubt in Nikolas' mind.

As he slept, a slight chill went through Jax's body. He yawned and opened his eyes, looking around to see where the breeze could have come from. A small smile crept across his lips as he looked through the open sliding glass door.

Jax watched as Keesha leaned up against the rail of their hotel balcony, drinking coffee. They had been through so much, but they always were together...even when they were apart, their hearts were with each other. And that was all that mattered. They would get through this, and get Stefan out of their lives. Perhaps, even, they would leave Port Charles and all of it's residents with all of their problems behind.

He would miss Jerry terribly, but Jax was beginning to think it was time to leave. Just him, and Keesha, Jocelyn and Laurence. Just the four of them-just go and truely have their own lives...lives not tied anyone...lives that were only theirs.

Lives that would be peaceful.

Keesha finished her coffee and turned away from the railing. She smiled as she noticed Jax staring at her and walked in, closing the sliding door. "Have you been awake long?"

"Long enough." Jax answered.

Softly she asked "Then why are you just laying in bed? We have places to go....people to see..." she teased.

"So sue me. I enjoy watching you in the morning. I do it more often than you know."

"Why would you want to watch me in the morning...normally you are up long before me. Seeing me sleep cannot be that interesting."

"Watching you places things in persepctive." Jax reached out his hand to her and Keesha walked over to the edge of the bed, taking it. "It allows me to focus on what is most important...on how to keep you."

"Keep me..." Keesha waited.

"Just keep you."

"That's simple. Just be...and I will be with you." she kissed Jax's hand, sitting down in the bed next to him. "So you can stop watching me in the morning." She winked.

"No I can't...you are most beautiful in the morning...sleeping..." the deep tones of his voice reached out and caressed her heart.

Despite her slight embarassment at his compliment, Keesha managed to maintain eye contact. She stroked his cheek with her fingertips and drew closer. "I love you, Jax," she told him. She ran her fingers around the contours of his face.

Jax sat up, cupping her face into his hands and pulling her even closer. Their lips met and they kissed hungrily. He leaned back down in the bed and Keesha rested on top of him, the buttons of his blue silk pajama top pressing into her robed body. He rolled them over, placing himself on top.

Keesha followed as Jax sat up. They continued kissing as her hands roamed across his chest, feeling the hardness of his muscles through the pajama's material. She unbuttoned them, removing his shirt quickly and tossing it to the ground. She broke off the kiss and he opened his eyes to hers. Her eyes locked with his, she leaned back down in the bed, waiting. He rested on top of her once more, kissing her passionately. She returned his kiss, sliding her hands down the bare skin of his back before they rolled over again, placing her on top once more. She freed her hands from his body, straddling against his waist as she stared into his eyes. Again she maintained eye contact as her hands slid across his chest, each thumb teasing against his nipples.

Jax closed his eyes with a gasp. "Keesha..." he called, his breath still ragged from their lips' earlier embraces.

Jax opened his eyes once more, smiling as he undid the tie to his pajama bottoms. Keesha grinned, loosening her robe, drawing it down over her shoulders as Jax removed the rest of his clothing completely.

"Keesha?" Jax waited, his desire for Keesha growing as her disrobing came to a halt.

"Sorry." Keesha breathed, her gaze travelling the length of Jax before reaching his eyes again. "I was pleasantly distracted." she leaned down, and before he could answer she kissed him slowly.

"Then let me." Jax groaned, kissing Keesha again as he dragged his hands over her shoulders, pushing her robe down, replacing the material with his hands as they slid the length of her arms.

Without breaking the kiss, Keesha reclined on top of Jax, the small curves of her breats unbearably arousing against his bare chest. Soon, he tore her robe from her completely, leaving them both nude.

Jax used his mouth to suck against her tongue and Keesha shivered, arching away from him. He used the opportunity the space bewteen their bodies provided and cupped her breasts in his hands, holding them together. He leaned up, running his tongue down into the cleavage his hands had formed...kissing their sides gently...sucking against her nipples with such force that she let out a deep groan.

The fiery sound caused Jax to throb almost unbearably against the silky skin of her leg. Yet he maintained some sort of control and continued tasting her breasts. Keesha trailed her hand over the hard muscles of his inner thigh; he froze as her fingers brushed his hardness lightly. She wrapped her hand around him, stroking, and he finally exhaled, the breath quivering.

Keesha let go with a moan as Jax quickly led her face to his, kissing her. She sighed as he sat up, enclosing her in his arms as their kiss slowed. Tenderly he nibbled against her ear, flittering gentle butterfly kisses across her throat. She swept her hands up his back, resting them against his shoulders, her need to have him growing with each passing second.

And though Jax wanted Keesha as well, he was in no hurry. He traced her lips with his tongue.

Jax wanted them each to savor everything, every touch, every whisper...so both of them could feel just how perfect life was with just them.

He drew Keesha into yet another soft kiss, and though her ache to have him continued to intensify...she pulled away with a small satisfied sigh...another desire overwhelmed her thoughts...he smiled as she kissed the tip of his nose and then kissed his lips once more, slowly. "I love you." he whispered against her mouth. She settled against his lap as their kiss continued.

Jax led Keesha down into the bed, resting on top of her. He kissed her again and then entered her fully with one powerful thrust. He groaned as she arched, hoping to somehow take in even more of him.

"Jax..." Keesha breathed as she began to move. He joined her and they moved slowly at first, then their pace quickened. Keesha held Jax tightly to her and he surged into her one last time, groaning as they both released.

Keesha continued getting ready, watching as Jax paced outside on the balcony. "I'm going," she called carefully.

Jax walked back inside the room. "I don't like this," he mumbled.

"Stefan knows you're here. And he doesn't want to hurt me. And you said yourself, Luke and Jason are back in Port Charles."

"Exactly. They went back last evening. But did Stefan mention that?"

"Well...no..."

"And why is he here. If Spencer and Morgan are his top priotity-they're there...he's here."

"Good point. But I can't back out now."

"Why?"

"Because backing out of meeting Stefan would not be a good thing...and you know that." Keesha came up to Jax, standing directly across from him so she could better look into his eyes.

Jax sighed. "Normally, yes. But something doesn't sit right about this. Keesha...please. I don't want you to go. I just..." Jax stopped speaking as Keesha went over to the phone. She dialed.

"Hello Keesha." Stefan answered.

"Hi...I can't make it." Keesha looked at Jax. "No...Jax has to go back...no he can't go on without me...okay...okay...I'm sorry....Windemere?"

Jax cut his eyes, but nodded. That would give them at least some time figure out what was going on.

"Tomorrow evening is fine...okay...bye." she hung up. "Happy?"

"Yes." Jax answered.

"Good. You know, all I ever want to do is make you happy." she reminded him.

"I know...and we should go. Or else Stefan will be suspicious."

The next evening. Windemere

Jerry and Jax stood in one of the many hidden entryways. "She's sitting down on the sofa." Jerry continued to watch Keesha. "Can you hear her?" Jerry whispered to Jax.

"Thank you." Keesha smiled as Stefan handed her a glass of port.

"Loud and clear." Jax replied to Jerry in German.
